I'm in Cincinnati and the stupid construction going on all the time messes up traffic. We have pretty busy roads and it can take me 15 -20 minutes to get my son 4 miles to school. Of course, this only happens when I am late for work. :-)

I think traffic is only getting worse where ever you live. It certainly is around me. I have to sit for over 20 or 30 minutes each morning on the exit ramp to get to work. That doesn't include the 20-minute drive time TO the ramp and the 5 or 10 minutes after that.

At the same time, I'm glad I'm not driving in LA or Chicago every morning!

I'm in Indianapolis, really our traffic is nill. We get huffy if it takes minutes to get through something. It's amazing when you consider the HOURS some people spend in traffic!

When my son would come home from college (in a much smaller town) he would always complain about driving here with the yuppies. Poor baby, he graduated and will now be back with them full time. Let that be the worst pressure or stress of his life! Good luck with your point goal Leanne.....t

Traffic is sheer hell here. Friday night rush hour...when there's five or six cars backed up at the main stop light downtown...not to mention having a tractor trailer roll through, too!

Traffic in southern California is the pits!! Forget driving into downtown Los Angeles.....I won't go there unless it's really necessary.

Right now it takes me half and hour to get home (which isn't bad) on the freeway. The problem is all the tailgaters, slow poke drivers and the crazy drivers on the road. The main streets are just as bad!

I live 20 miles, give or take an ounce, from my office in Hollywood. It usually takes me about an hour, half on freeways, half on surface streets. The drive through Hollywood is particularly annoying, since there is almost always some sort of construction going on; it'll be a nice town if they ever get it finished. L.A. is full of people who learned to drive in benighted backwaters like Boston and NYC, places where people assume that driving is an innate talent, requiring no actual study. They die for their ignorance, but not fast enough. I decided years ago that I had two options for my drivetime sanity: an Uzi or a cigar.
