Have You Always Wanted To Be A Do It Yourselfer?

My daughter called a few nights ago. She wanted advice on her washer. It seems that it would run water and begin the wash cycle but it would not drain the water out. It was very difficult to help her long distance on the phone. As it turned out the washer was worn out. She had purchased it used but now she was in need of a new washer. I am the kind of person who works on my appliances when they are not working correctly. I get all the life out of them that I can get.  I have even used screws to stop leaks in the copper waterline.
