Today my hubby called me from work to inform me that starting on Monday morning he will be working from 8am - 1pm then making a quick transition into his other job from 2pm -10pm.
I work 2 days a week from 8:30am until 2:45pm sometimes later. I've gotta find a way to make this work. I might have to end up quitting my job so that he can have the car full time and or put my daughter on the bus to and from school which is something I have never done before. Not one time this year has she ever rode the school bus I'm too nervous.
I kinda like my job cause its gives me a sense of worth doing something and not having to use my hubby's hard earned money for things I want but on the other hand, I hate my job, cause the pay is pretty crappy and we have a lot of things going on up their with certain kids.
I only live about 3 miles from work, so technically I could walk it would do me some good but I can't make my daughter walk if she has to go with me. Maybe I could bum a ride from a coworker but the only coworker that lives by me has some serious home issues and I'm afraid one day I might get in the middle of a fight between her and her hubby, that wouldn't be very good.
We don't have public transportation here either otherwise I would do that cause thats what I used to do when I lived in another town and I wanted to go somewhere without a car. I think public transportation is great.
If anyone has ever done this and has some suggestions please let me know. I'm not sure how this will all work out but I will keep you updated.

When I started working he was making a lot more money and working a different shift but since his job laid off a bunch of people and cut hours I had to do something to make a little on the side.
He can get a ride to his second job but I don't know how reliable the guy is that lives near us. I don't want him to lose his main job because of our car situation.
I should get a bike that would be a good little ride.
I love biking I think I will get a new one this year so I can start biking again. I can even get one of those tag longs for my bike and put my daughter in it so I can go to work like that. :) Well, that is if my hubby will let me ride on the main highway we live off of.
If you've never heard of MDO let me know. I will see if I can find one in your area and see if they are hiring.
