My Love
Your skin glows like the pomegranate,
blossoms ripe as the daisy in the purest hope of spring.
My heart follows your trumpet voice,
Leaping like a puppy at the whisper of your name.
The evening floats in on a great cockatiel wing.
I am comforted by your brassiere
Which I carry into the twilight of Gatherbeams,
Clutching it to my hairy chest.
I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of chardonnay.
As my hand falls from my speedo, it reminds me of your nest.
In the quiet, I listen for the last music of the day.
My heated feet leap to my shoes.
I wait in the moonlight for your secret orbs
So we may bounce as one, eyes to eyes,
In search of the magnificient lavender and mystical mouse of love.
