You may not like what Clark has to say, but at least he is not a scumbag.
As for this post, come on folks, this is a joke, and it's pretty GD funny!
Wow Cathi, now Ron W. is deleting comments?
I think the left is becoming unhinged by Sara Palin. They gleefully predicted doom for the republicans and after reality fell on top of them they are now scrambling to put together ridiculous lies and smears that they desperately hope will stick and slow down this amazing conservative juggernaut. This article is just the latest example of it. John McCain's speech last night drew more viewers than the anointed one who went to a football stadium and used a Hollywood production styrofoam stage as a back drop!
Boy, you really CAN'T comprehend what you read, can you? Didn't I JUST SAY that I'd JUST made a change in my long-standing rule of thumb, making a special exception for what I think everybody here could agree is the single most worthless piece of human debris that litters this arena? Can ANYBODY here claim that he's made a SINGLE comment worth reading, ever? If so, I've never seen it. Frankly, I'd just suddenly had my fill of it. I won't allow him to post on my threads anymore, because he's not worthy.
"I think the left is becoming unhinged by Sara Palin."
She's gone within 2 weeks. The sex affair scandal is heating up, as is the ethics investigation scandal. One of the members of the bi-partisan committee of the investigation announced today that they're going to release their report 3 weeks ahead of the scheduled 10/31 release date, and added that it's likely to cause problems in the governor's office.
Yeah, the clip is funny as hell, isn't it? Wish I'd have thought of it! I love all of the little background comments as he turns to talk with the "advisor." Funny stuff. Reminds me of when I'm talking to my dad on the phone, and I can hear my mom in the background, coaching along!
This is hilarious. Can't blame you on lex.
I sometimes reconsider my no deleting position .
At least it won't be because of my state (Ohio) this time.
Fair enough, I didn't read you comment that explained your reasoning because to be honest I never read YOUR comments on your posts because they usually consist of:
"""Your just a brain washed neconon Christo-fascist pewking out Reich wing talking points like the nazi you are......"
Understand? Of course not. You are sitting their wondering what was wrong with what you usually say.
As far as the voice mail it was funny. But to me the funniest thing is how the desperate cling to it.
"""""She's gone within 2 weeks. The sex affair scandal is heating up, as is the ethics investigation scandal. """""
Hey Cark I have a frozen sasquatch to sell you.
Wrong. But the left might have decided that it would be fun to dish back just a little of what they've had to put up with for so long. Funny, you guys don't do so well at taking what you dish out. I'm sure no one is surprised.
In a nutshell what was in there.
Looks like I am missing some good stuff.
Well I can promise you one thing. There will be many blogs and Gather rants complaining about a stolen election.
""""At least it won't be because of my state (Ohio) this time.""""""
You don't know that yet. You guys usually find the state that would have changed the results and was closest so Ohio is still in play as the state that was stolen. Call me a skeptic but after Florida was "stolen" and the democrats promised that the Jeb Bush election 2 years later would be proof of it, kind of lost it's steam after Jeb Bush won in a landslide. Then again, who am I?
Well give at it. If that is your excuse for being hypocrites I encourage you to keep doing what you are doing. The funny thing about the right wing women is that they don't need you or government. You are an embarrassment and have reduced yourselves to nags. I encourage you to keep attacking Sarah for what she is instead of what she has done. It exposes you for who you really are.
Alaska does not have that large a population, and their constituency is even less, since the Republicans are notorious for crooked elections there, too. So then, WHERE are all of the adoring Palin constituents? I think that we would find them 6 feet under if a serious investigation were done. Ted Stevens should really spill it about her. She done him wrong, and turn about is fair play.
Anyway, here is what "louise" had to say. It's from Ron W.'s article; I featured the article.
I picked this up from the comments portion of the Huffington blog:
"louise1204 See Profile I'm a Fan of louise1204 I'm a fan of this user permalink"
"SP is governor of MY state. Much has been swept under the rug when it comes to her soldier son Track. Sarah hasn't been a hockey mom in quite sometime, as Track spent his senior year of high school in Michigan. This transfer took place after he and a number of friends vandalized the school bus fleet in Wasilla. That was the culmination of a night that also involved stealing liquor and getting stewed. After his return from exhile he was arrested for drugs. It's pretty common knowledge he avoided jail time by joining the Guards. So, his reasons for joining the army (as Sarah refers to it) were not exactly noble. It was the lesser of 2 evils.
There's also an interesting story as to why the snowmachine partnership between her husband and his best friend dissolved. SP is quite a gal."
That's our gal, alright!
Every night would be a parteeeeeeee in the White House were she to get in there, and SHE would BE the parteeeeeee.
Think she might invite Newt-Leroy over for a few laughs?
It seems a trend for the party to do that at all levels.
What I cannot understand is why people are so stuck in the mud and biased about the dems.
We have a brilliant candidate who has a plan, he is a unifier as demonstrated by past achievement and well educated .
Why would you choose another puppet who has no mind of his own.
He has to be continuosly reminded and instructed about what to say, has one town hall a day and nothing on weekends..so much for energy level.
Palin has left her town of Wasilla with a 22 million deficit as a mayor.
So, perhaps you might consider either not posting at all in response, since your comments have virtually no basis in facts at hand, or actually reading what's posted before you comment? Just a suggestion.
"Well I can promise you one thing. There will be many blogs and Gather rants complaining about a stolen election."
If another election is found to be stolen, you can be assured of two things:
1) progressives will point it out and,
2) republiCONs will ignore the evidence. UNLESS/UNTIL such time comes that it is THEIR candidates that are seeing their votes "magically flipped" to the other candidate overnight. THEN, election fraud will suddenly become something that the "right" is VERY interested in.
"The funny thing about the right wing women is that they don't need you or government."
Really? So Sarah Palin doesn't need anyone's votes, and isn't currently employed in the government? Interesting.
"What I cannot understand is why people are so stuck in the mud and biased about the dems."
Rightwing propaganda. Nothing more. People who vote against their own best interests have allowed themselves to be manipulated and lied to by rightwing propagandists with an agenda of serving the corporate masters.
Huffington Post, wasn't that the same one that wrongly claimed Sarah Palin was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party?
Very funny clip.
Yes he was, and he is now a Democrat. Obviously, the politics of Sarah and Todd differ... and that's just fine and dandy with me.
Good point Don, Sarah Barracuda has really disrupted the liberal game plan. This is becoming really fun to watch.
I am still so fired up about Sarah Palin I could shoot a moose!
I read your posts but reading your comments in response to right of center responders gets a little redundant but once again, my bad.
"""Really? So Sarah Palin doesn't need anyone's votes, and isn't currently employed in the government? Interesting. """"
I didn't know that it was government that handed out votes dumb ass. I thought you were a stickler for the facts.
It's always good to see you, my friend. Rumor had it that you had gone awaaaaaaay. I'm pleased to hear that the rumor wasn't true.
Let's see though: I have not seen you since you made the comment to me,
"STFU and get into the kitchen and fry me some eggs." That was on Rory (the Canadian's article Hey, who deleted that comment? Was it you, or was it Rory? Rory seemed to think you were, "just kidding", but . . . hmmm, not my way of joking.
Back to your question: "So Lady N, are you voting for Obama because he is black? You know damn well you are..... "
I'll answer that, once you answer one for me, Lex Luthor: Are you voting for McCain because he is White and not voting for Obama because he is Black?
As always, good to see you, or rather the Icon.
But, she is not so good for the Country. The woman is sooooo detrimental to this Country that she even makes George W. Bush SHINE in comparison. Now, that's pretty bad.
Of course you are. She has exhilerated the extreme far right fringe element, of which you are clearly a proud member. She doesn't, however, appeal in the least to the independents, of whom your party needs to gather support from. Ooopsies, huh? Glad you're real pleased she's on board, though.
"I read your posts but reading your comments "
Isn't it odd then, how often it is that you respond with comments that have almost nothing to do with what I've said? What do you suppose that says about your reading skills?
"I didn't know that it was government that handed out votes dumb ass. '
Another fine example of your "stellar' reading comprehension skills. She needs "you," as in "voters," dumb ass, and she's currently a government employee. You had previously stated "The funny thing about the right wing women is that they don't need you or government"
Clearly, you're either sorely mistaken, or you're dumber than you appear.
"John McCain has neither of those, nor does his 96 year old mothe from what I've seen. "
Actually, we don't really know this, but we do know that he has displayed some of the symptoms of dimentia that occur at the onset of that disease. I, for one, think that he should undergo an extensive mental health eval and have the results made public, as a show of his fitness for the office. Personally, I think he's a horrible choice, not only because he may have early stages of dimentia setting in, but because he just simply lacks the temperment and judgement skills required for the job, not to mention his complete lack of understanding of domestic and foreign policy issues.
In that sense (his utter lack of understanding of policy), he's chosen the perfect running mate, one could say, since she will certainly make him look FAR superior in terms of general knowledge of critical issues.
I noticed that today, she demonstrated her complete lack of awareness that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were private companies. Just what we need in the white house...another ignoramous.
That's rich. I guess you've never heard the term quasi-government agency. You probably didn't know that FANNIE MAE is creative pronunciation of the acronym FNMA "Federal National Mortgage Association". Yes, it is privately owned, but is a government sponsored enterprise. Fannie Mae was founded as a government agency in 1938.
Let's take a look at those gaining the most:
Top Recipients of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Campaign Contributions, 1989-2008
1. Dodd, Christopher J -- $133,900
2. Kerry, John -- $111,000
3. Obama, Barack -- $105,849
4. Clinton, Hillary -- $75,550
5. Kanjorski, Paul E -- $65,500
6. Bennett, Robert F -- $61,499
7. Johnson, Tim -- $61,000
8. Conrad, Kent -- $58,991
9. Davis, Tom -- $55,499
10. Bond, Christopher S 'Kit' -- $55,400
All but two are Democrats! See any familiar names there moonbat?
Clark don't give up or give in. You always rate a 10 from me.
Wow.. you've backed that up with a lot of proof... NOT.
Sorry, but both are private entities, supported by government backing. They are PRIVATE companies. Palin said that they were GOVERNMENT entities. Nice spinny though, batshit.
Read and learn, your ignorance:

http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/Freddie-Mac-Company-History.html
Notice that, once again, this was a public infrastructure that was gutted by republiCON vulture capitalists, and will once again, as usual, be bailed out by the public, and then once again handed over to vulture capitalists, to be gutted and raped once again. Prime example of the complete failure of neoconomics.
"The people at the top of FANNIE MAE making all sorts of money are a who's who list of entrenched Democrats, and they support the Dems:"
So what? A handful of politicians got $20 per year from them. What's your point, or do you have none, as usual, batshit?
Here's the BIGGER picture, teeny weeny:
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0708/11781.html
"This is why we don't want these hypocrites in office. "
But, I thought you were in SUPPORT of mcbusho?
"I'm done cleaning the floor with you for now Clarky"
Funny stuff, batshit, but you have never, nor will you ever "clean the floor with me. You're an idiot, and as such, you're easy to pummel with facts and reality.
"Wow.. you've backed that up with a lot of proof... NOT."
Plenty o' proof out there to bury your freakish little religio-nazi. Go read up on what her minister has to say about Israel and the United STates, and then read up on what the founder of her beloved "Alaska Independence Party" had to say about this country. Then, take a gander at how she's trying to stonewall the troopergate investigation, and how it's about to expose her as someone who abused her position of power for personal gain (typical for a wingnut, we know), batshit boy.
"James A. Johnson was head of Obama's VP pick team, and he was former CEO of FANNIE MAE.... the party of corruption, eh Clark"
God, you're a moron. Beating you to a pulp is like clubbing a child with a hammer. It's hardly even a fair match.
"They’ve stacked their payrolls with top Washington power brokers of all political stripes, including Republican John McCain’s presidential campaign manager, Rick Davis"
"At least 20 McCain fundraisers have lobbied on behalf of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, netting at least $12.3 million in fees over the past nine years. "
"And for years, Rick Davis served as president of an advocacy group led by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that defended the two companies against increased regulation."
"McCain tapped Culvahouse, the former Reagan administration official, to head his search for a running mate.
Currently a partner at O’Melveny & Myers, Culvahouse lobbied on behalf of Fannie Mae in 1999, 2003 and 2004, according to Senate records.
The campaign connections to the two mortgage companies go far beyond vice presidential vetters.
McCain campaign manager Davis headed the Homeownership Alliance, a lobbying association that included Fannie, Freddie, nonprofit groups, real estate agents, homebuilders and consumer advocates. The group’s stated goal was to increase affordable housing. But it also worked to oppose congressional efforts to tighten controls on Fannie and Freddie.
In July 2003, Davis wrote to the American Banker, taking issue with an opinion piece by Leslie Paige of Citizens Against Government Waste, arguing that Fannie and Freddie should operate with greater transparency.
“Several of Ms. Paige’s assertions bear correction,” Davis wrote, defending Fannie and Freddie on behalf of the group. “The GSEs are subject to an innovative and stringent risk-based capital stress test — the toughest in the financial services industry.”
Other McCain aides with ties to the two companies include economic adviser Aquiles Suarez, who worked as Fannie’s director of government and industry relations; congressional liaison John Green, who lobbied for Fannie from 2004 to 2007; and finance co-chairman Frederic V. Malek, a former Freddie board member."
There you go, dumbass. There's your fucking maverick. There's your 'change you can believe in."
What an idiot. Next time you wanna play with the big boys, you might wanna do a little research first, eh? Fucking batshit loony toon dumbass.
Btw, genius, hate to be the one to break this to you, but your boy has been one of the key players in the filth that you're so concerned about. Ever hear of "The Keating Five?" Look into it sometime, and then ask yourself why your boy is receiving campaign contributions from him. So much for "cleaning house," batshit.
Set.
Match.
LOL!!!
Thanks for playing again, dumbass! You are, and forever will be, my little beeatch! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Fricking idiot!
I provided the list of those benefitting the most: Dimocrats by far. Why do you lie?
New Agency Proposed to Oversee Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae - Sept 11, 2003
The Bush administration today recommended the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago.
Under the plan, disclosed at a Congressional hearing today, a new agency would be created within the Treasury Department to assume supervision of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac....
Among the groups denouncing the proposal today were the National Association of Home Builders and Congressional Democrats who fear that tighter regulation of the companies could sharply reduce their commitment to financing low-income and affordable housing.
''These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis,'' said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.''
--------------------
There in a NUTshell is the entire housing crisis we are now living with. The Bush Administration had vision and knew this could be a problem and a SENIOR DIMOCRAT, Barney the fag Frank saw fit to denounce the Bush plan. And now the shit hits the fan and all the moonbat libs are out in droves pointing fingers. It's the same thing as Katrina.... a DEMOCRAT led state had years and years to improve the levees ignored all good advice.
Again, you prove yourself to be a moonbat idiot, Clark... go find some more spin if it makes you feel good, but the facts don't look good for the dimocrats.
Oh great wise Obama, your holiness ..... say it ain't so.
AND
MATE
in three moves no less ;)
BTW -- Olbe is Clark's favorite 'news' anchor. So Clark, you see... turns out your judgement is poor at best. Just ask MSNBC.
You're an idiot. You just don't know when you've had enough, do you? What a moron. I'll gladly keep kicking your ugly monkey teeth down your throat, if that's what you really want, fool.
http://www.hermes-press.com/capitalism_afford.htm
The mortgage meltdown is, as ENRON and so many other economic disasters that disaster/vulture capitalism has brought us, the direct result of monstrously failed republiCON economics policies. Check your facts, dipshit.
http://www.motherjones.com/news/feature/2008/07/foreclosure-phil.html
Next time somebody just gets done kicking your sorry, little, pathetic, batshit, loony toon wingnut ass with a heavy dose of reality, you might want to learn to just slither away, rather than come back for more, like a clueless dumbass.
Btw, dipshit, how, even in your twisted, delusional, dumbass wingnut shit for a brain, does this decision have ANYTHING whatsoever to do with me? Christ, you're a moron.
FYI, batshit, Olbermann's NOT a news anchor. He's an opinion pundit, just like Hannity, O'Leily, and the rest of your lying wingnut propagandists. The only difference is that Olbermann doesn't tow the fascist rightwing line, and isn't afraid to speak truth to power.
Oh, and he's also single-handedly brought the failing MSNBC network from the ash heap that diseased reichwing nazi programming had left it in.
Of course, it was because, she IDOLIZED me. Is that the reason the Republicans imitate the things Obama does?
Shucks! Gee golly gosh! Why ask the obvious? Why, of course that's the reason!!! That, and because they cannot come up with an original thought on their own.
Well now,
put your guns down!
PUT YOUR GUNS DOWN!!!
I may have misspoken . . .
The Republican answer to ALL their impotent woes --
live
and handing out artillery
AND
Viagra . . .
and a leetle somethin-somethin
Yahooooooooooo!!! Boys! Come and Get it.
Annie's back in town!!!
and she's fully loaded!!! Watch out thar, John McCain! You might git yourn sooner than you think!
SOMETHING . . . ANYTHING,
STEALING
his concept.
After all,
Imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery.
But remember that the
ORIGINAL -- Barack Obama -- is the one and only O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L.
Yeah -- he bumped it up to LAST PLACE. LOL... truth to power, Clarky boy!
Because you love him.... and now he's a proven moonbat lib unworthy to anchor serious events. Just like you are unqualified to speak about politics. You are like the thousand others at DailyKooks... rude, crude, dumb, hateful... and you whine about capitalism. Not for nothing, but this site would not exist with capitalism. I guess you want the state to run your blog sites too ;)
Clearly, I win.
Clark: this is soooooooooo much, MUCHO BIGGO FUN!
Uh, yeah...isn't that sort of what I just said, batshit boy? And, wouldn't that signify a rather dramatic improvement from where it was? Yeah, thought so. Btw, don't look now, but Olbermann is running neck and neck with, and even on occassion beating your sad, tired OLD liar on FAUX in the only demographic that matters. Ooopsies.
"Because you love him.... and now he's a proven moonbat lib unworthy to anchor serious events."
So what? This says nothing except that you're dumb enough to bring it up as an issue. You're an idiot, and you've just proven it once again. FWIW, I would no more have chosen Olbermann to be a political "anchor" as I would Pat Buchannan, Chris Matthews, or anyone from FAUX. Opinion pundits don't belong in an anchor position, regardless of the network.
"Screw capitalism! "
That's not a bad name for what you destructive, anti-American wingnuts have created here, although I'd probably opt to add "you" in the middle. Unregulated, vulture capitalism is called "fascism," and it destroys democracies, for those that aren't aware.
Yes, moron, clearly, you "win." The person that speaks last always wins, regardless of how idiotic their comments are, or how thoroughly they're pummeled in the discussion.
Btw, to further clarify on the idiotic Palin comment, she very clearly stated that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were "too expensive for taxpayers," which very clearly indicated that she considered them to be government entities, which they are very clearly not. Taxpayers did NOT fund these PRIVATE companies, until now, after Phil Gramm and John McBush's failed neoconomics destroyed both companies, forcing the US taxpayer to once again step in to save them.
As usual in vulture capitalism, the companies are "private" so long as the executives are able to siphon millions upon millions of dollars in personal wealth from them, but the moment their mismanagement causes collapse, they suddenly become "public."
This is what happens every single time you strip away critical regulatory oversight and let the "free market" run itself. This is the "free market running itself." Failure after failure after stunning, crushing, crippling failure. This is republiCON economics on parade.
Bottom line: Palin is clueless and unfit for the office of the VP, and republiCON economics policies are catastrophic failures, by every measure.
Better post another idiotic comment, Don, or else "I win." Moron.
Thanks for clarifying. She's right. The tax payers are going to pick up the tab as the shareholders will have their stocks rise. The only good thing about this MAYBE is that we will finally see the bottom of housing prices going down as more money is available for people to buy houses.
Clearly, you lied about Palin's knowledge on the Fannie Mae issue because you inferred. Moonbats should never infer.
Yeah -- he's stealing that Jon Stewart crowd.... gullible know nothings like yourself. It's sucks always being last, eh Clarky? If you got a haircut and took a shower you might get a job and participate in the George Bush economy.
Thanks for pointing out how utterly ignorant you are as well. What she said was completely false, and that you THINK she's right only shows that you're as clueless and/or dishonest as she is.
"Clearly, you lied about Palin's knowledge on the Fannie Mae issue because you inferred."
I didn't lie about shit, batshit boy. I said that she had stated that these companies were government entities, and you quickly stepped up to AGREE with her! Now, you're lying about it. Nice try, spinny, but it ain't gonna work. You seem to keep forgetting that I'm not one of your dumbass wingnut pals that swallows every lie you vomit out.
"Palin is your worst fears come true as she lifts up the entire conservative movement."
First of all, the only thing that terrifies this nation about Palin is the thought that an entirely unqualified, wacky religio-nazi extremist such as herself could potentially be literally a heartbeat away from the office of the presidency. That thought would terrify ANY real American. Gee...I wonder why it doesn't seem to bother you? Hmmmmm...
Secondly, she has ignited only the farthest right extremist branch of the loony toon wingnut element of the diseased, anti-American, terrorist republiCON party. Her presence will do nothing but turn off independent voters, without whom neither candidate can win the election. Have fun with that. Just remember that while you and your fellow wacky extremist wingnut nazis are pissing your pants over her, the rest of the nation is aghast at the horrible selection.
This is a case where you seem to keep forgetting that you are NOT in the mainstream. You are a rightwing extremist. Your views are the polar opposite of the vast majority of America. Sorry. Reality sucks sometimes.
"Yeah -- he's stealing that Jon Stewart crowd.... "
Hate to break this to you, batshit boy, but that demographic just HAPPENS to be the demographic that advertisers target, and that every network covets. Oooopsies...more of those harsh fact thingys...sorry.
"participate in the George Bush economy. "
I am participating, thank you. I'm getting screwed with runaway inflation, climbing interest rates, and exploding energy costs just like everybody else. What a "glorious" economy you've created. Record poverty, record foreclosures, record deficits, record debt, record energy costs, record corruption, record business collapwe, failure. Gosh, let's all vote for another 4 years of that, shall we?
They think that the guys that think she IS hot must be pretty "hard up",
(I won't use their words), have not had a good piece of tail in a very long time,
or
must be accustomed to some very UGLY women to have Palin as their "Playboy" centerpiece.
They don't think she's "that bad", but just not anything they would look at twice. They figure the craze comes from a bunch of dirty old men with delusions of yesteryear.
That is a very STUPID term, when you stop to think about it.
The antonym would be logically be,
Anti-Life, I suppose. (Con-Life sounds strange.)
Clark, are you anti-Life? I doubt it. You probably have children, or if not, probably love them, as do I.
So how in the Hell -- or where in the Hell does anyone get away with coming up with this
"Pro-Life"????
"Pro-Life", as opposed to WHAT???
But, let's examine this "Pro-Life" stance a little deeper here:
"I'm 'Pro-Life', but I hunt and kill, for RECREATION."
Say WHAT?!
You want to repeat that?
"Certainly: I'm 'Pro-Life', but I hunt and kill . . . life, animals, live things, for RECREATION."
Fascinating.
I'm telling you, McCain . . . watch .......OUT!!!
The proper term is "anti-choice," and it has much more to do with controlling a woman and stripping her of power over her own body than anything else. It's a direct throwback to extremist religious views of the 12th century.
He seems to like attacking people in comments, but when I wrote an article about him, that pussy couldn't take it and reported me to Gather and now the only person who can read it is me, but not before a y'all got your hits in!
So anyone who wants to rag on Clark for deleting Lex Luthor's comments, save your effort for someone who deserves it. Lex had my article removed for doing the very thing his comments do to other people. If you'd care to see the article, I'll happily send it to you via Gather email.
A: His head.
