I realize quite a few delusional people like to set goals . . . strive to acheive them . . . fail to achieve them . . . and then point at what they DID do as an indication they achieved their goal. It's like trying to run a four minute mile, telling people you're going to do it, and then coming in at 5:25.
Puff out the chest and proudly claim your run was a success! Yes! You DIDN'T stop! You ran the whole way! Your buddies all clap you on the back and congratulate you on the success!
But then there's ALWAYS that ONE person . . . who will say: "Ahem. That wasn't a four minute mile."
"Dude . . . I ran NON-STOP!"
His friends start chanting "SUCCESS - success" and generally laughing at the person who mentioned that it was . . . umm . . . NOT a success.
Welcome to the Surge in Iraq. A complete and utter failure by the standards set by President "Read My Lips, Jr." Bush himself. Despite the failure . . . the idiocy surrounding the idea that this was a success continues.

Directly from the US Gov. is the new Presidential Declaration just signed by George "Mission Accomplished" Bush.
Presidential Signing Declaration - US Government Website
This was such a success that (and I quote):
Because the obstacles to the orderly reconstruction of
Iraq, the restoration and maintenance of peace and
security in the country, and the development of
political, administrative, and economic institutions in
Iraq continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary
threat to the national security and foreign policy of
the United States, the national emergency declared on
May 22, 2003..."
has now been extended yet another year to 2009 . . .
Success, Mission accomplished, a few dead-enders . . . Paul Joseph Goebbels could have learned a lot from these guys . . . they certainly learned a lot from him. "The cleverest trick used in propaganda against Germany during the war was to accuse Germany of what our enemies themselves were doing." -- Goebbels (at Nuremberg, 1943) Now you understand why we always hear about the "Liberal" media???

I forget . . . how does that propaganda thing work again? People have to be HOW dumb to believe this? Without life support?

DAMN Monkey . . . I can't find the quote but at one point in the campaign a mike was left on and he was overheard making a comment about this being the biggest gang of criminals . . . and the Bush team howled like a sissy boy who dropped his ice cream in the sand. I have virtually NO DOUBT what-so-ever that Kerry would have been FAR better and was elected until the US Supreme Court appoint Bush. As for the 2nd go round, google election fraud 2004 . . . you'll see. :)
Yes, Grems . . . he's very dangerous as they're literally cornered and on the way out . . .

And let us not forget Baby Bro' Jeb's "hanging chads" in his very own Kingdom of Florida, where any votes against Big Brother Slackjaw went uncounted.
True enough Dame Ruth . . . even Sandra Day O'Conner knows she blew the decision big time and can now go down in history as one of the five that took the country from the rightfully elected person, by trampling on State's Rights, and handed it to a miserable, filthy, corrupt little weasle who was not only the single worst occupant of that esteemed office in all of history, but who will no doubt need decades to clean up after. He also managed to spend more than ALL previous Presidents combined. Thanks Sandra . . . Your place in History is secure too!

No, it's accurate. He was Germany's Minister of Propaganda and wrote numerous things throughout the rise and fall of the Third Reich. Source: Der Kongress zur Nürnberg 1934 (Munich: Zentralverlag der NSDAP., Frz. Eher Nachf., 1934), pp. 130-141. You can see this entire speech online here:
Nuremberg Rally Speech Link (Translated into English)!
Ok Chive, did you see where Republican Chuck Hagel said he would go for impeachment charges if Booshie did it?? Of course, the weasle feels untouchable and why the hell shouldn't he after what he's done with NO repercussions at all!

They were SO much easier to spot with the swastika armbands back in the day! LoL!

Yes, Doyle. It's just one crappy thing after another with this lot. We are numbed by their incessant audacity. There is a quote in Susan Jacob's book "The Age of American Unreason" - by a Bush aid in the WH. He basically looks at the journalists crowded around him and condescendingly says that it the press' job to report on reality after the fact...it is the Bush Administration's job to actually create reality. Get that "create" verb? That about sums it up for me. These guys have insulated their minds from the citizens of this country and other countries and decided to carry through their plan that was laid out long ago - and no one is going to stop them because they now have the reins of power and the will to "create" a whole new world.
That sounds like something a madman would say on the couch to his therapist....then promptly be put back into the padded cell from which he came.
Actually . . . I HAVE! Wtf? I would have thought he'd be on this article like a wet blanket! Maybe he's watching re-runs of Gilligan's Island . . . they're THAT close to getting off the Island . . . like we're THAT close to victory in Iraq! I was hoping he'd answer this one for me! BWA HAHAhahahaaaa . . . I ALMOST said that with a straight face!
"Is Bush the only person who sees success in Iraq?"
I doubt that dirtbag even believes the echo point about our *Cough*success*Cough* . . . As far as I know, Only Bret still believes that! LoL!

Otherwise we know that Bush has never had an measure of success... He bought his way through school. The Saudi's and daddy bailed out his companies. He was a horrible governor and president. What a sad failure.
More or less what I said, I think. I'm not sure that theft (which tied into the hanging chad comment) was a theft by Bush but I'm damned certain it was a theft FOR Bush . . . and over a million innocent people are dead . . . as far as I'm concerned, there are five members of that court with blood on their hands.
You're right though. He never succeeded an anything except uniting this nation against him.
