How the Pentagon planted a false story - Gareth Porter
The ballyhooed US-Iranian Strait of Hormuz speedboat incident was essentially a propaganda hoax concocted by the Pentagon as evidence of a dire Iranian threat. It has since failed to pass scrutiny and even the US Navy is distancing itself from this public relations debacle.

"This staged incident may result in the enforcement of the law and prevent the US Navy from conducting future patroling in this area."
Who's going to stop them? LOL!
That's all I want to say to the ne-con butt-kissers. NOW??? Are you really going to stand by a cabal of bozos who purposely lie just so they can use your tax money and soldiers for their private wealth? Do you like being lied to? Do you trust people who lie to you? Now take this one step further and consider the lie about what brought about the WTC. Can you transfer now? Is your indoctrination so complete that you can't make that leap?
Okay. That's all for now.

Articles like that are the base for this so called "arrogance. Iran is a rogue nation and cannot be trusted at all, particularly in a strategic chokepoint like the Straights of Hormuz. They mined the gulf in 1988 and hit one of our warships. We kicked their asses good back then and will do so again if need be.
I really don't understand why Liberals need a mountain of evidence (even when presented with that they still want to talk) before the U.S. is entitled to protect its interests.
Iran is not considered a roque state by most and it has normal relations with most nations. The Islamic Rupublic since it's inception has demonstrated rational policies in regard to other nations. The United States has had many opportunities to establish normal relations with Iran and not taken steps to pursue them. It has maintained an attitude of not seeking engagement based on mutual interests and sought to overthrow Iran's government. For many nations, the United States is considered a threat or not trusted because of its imperialistic and militaristic policies - a "roque state" among nations that is failing to work toward a balanced, ordered world based on justice and human rights.
Because liberals are not like the under-educated credulous clowns who believed the sequence of lies told by this administration in the drum-beating for a reckless war of aggression in Iraq.
