I planted my FIRST Rose bush today!!!

I am so excited about my Rose bush, I do not have a green thumb and I'm not good with gardening at all!  I hope my husband dug a big enough hole, I hope I watered it enough and I hope it doesn't die! lol

I'm so excited about my Rose bush, I'm thinking about planting some Azelas next...

Lots of manure and don't drown the roots. Cut the spent roses back to just above the first five leaves. Stand close and breathe deep!

Very pretty Carolyn. Azaleas don't take much care at all, but roses need some care. I used to have a rose bush that was so beautiful and produced lovely roses. I have never been able to grow roses like that again. I wish you luck with your beautiful rose bush and may you have an abundance of beautiful roses.

Knock Out Roses are pretty drought tolorant. It should do fine :)

I planted two last year I am very excited to see they are green this year, looks like they made it thru the first winter, now i'll have to feed them! :-)

I love roses too. My azela bush is wild now.
I planted 3 rose bushes last year and only one made it. :(
