Dante's first day of Kindergarten

Today was Dante's first day of Kinder.  The rest of teh school started last Monday.  lets just say it did not go as planned.

Thursday night I got an automated call from the school saying that from now on the school hours whould be changed HUH????.  why didn't they change them BEFORE school started last week.  but no big deal for me, 15 min later in the a.m. and p.m. Ok I can do that. FF to this morning.....

 I go out to the bus 15 later than usual and ...... nothing.  Other kids show up still no bus.

We wait around, haveing fun :).  Then a lady stops and tell us that the bus came at it's regular time!!! WHAT???

So I load up my car with a few extra kids and I go to the school to drop them off.

Well apparently I was not the only idiot out there.  The parking lot was PACKED!  people were parking on the road as far as a 1/4 mile away to go in and complain as they dropped off their kids.  It took me 10 minutes just to wait to get into the car pool lane and drop off my kids.  There was NO place left to park and I missed out on lots of first day pic's :(

Anyway Dante was excited and I am still nervous, he has never done a full day of school.  He is bound to get cranky.  And I worry he will fall asleep on the bus and Devin will forget him :( crazy I know - but I still worry)
