WEATHER REPORT - never again!!!!!!!!

- 24degrees right now - expecting to go down to - 34 degrees later tonight......

 Never again I am going to listen or watch the weather forecasts. I quit for a long time because they would say sunny (I would take my umbrella, and glad of it)or they would say rainy(had my sunglasses on)....I just did not seem to be able to go with the flow.  Then for some unknown reason I started one day to listen and even believe them.....geez!!!!!

After the forecast that I did on my article yesterday, that was the last straw...............never again.......HAHAHAHA

Good job, I put on the ole longjohns again....... :O)

One good thing came out of this though, is I will NEVER make another weather article again for the rest of my life...........ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the ranting, but this just infuriates me..........not the weather, cause you cannot do anything about it, but just that don't these ppl who make a living figuring out the weather know that they cannot exactly know what Mother Nature is going to do.

Okay. I am now getting off my soap box (hoping I don't fall......HAHAHAHA)

LOL I always joke that anyone could forcast the weather. Half of the time it seems like a slightly educated guess at best. LOL

Well... ours said it would start to snow around 4pm... and they were pretty close. By 6pm it was coming down good and has been since. See my pictures I posted if you're interested. Usually they say it will snow here and it's never more than a flake or two. LOL. So I never believe them! They got it right on today tho!!!

I am really so glad that there are othe ppl out there that agree..........You can bet your butt that I am going to be bundles tonight, I don't want to give the hydro any more money than they deserve..........haha
Anyhow "friends", once more I am so happy to hear from you...........I have been looking over a lot of comments tonight and also images. Now I will check to see if I have left anyone out, and if I have, I will get on it right away...LOL

As much as they love to think they can predict the weather, I really think Mother Nature has one up on them. She'll do what she wants, when she wants, and there's nothing they can do about that.

Well you are right that is why I never listen to the weather channel which is based in Atlanta.When I moved to south Ga they have a station 13wmaz in Macon,and one thing I can say is that they will hit it on the head almost all of the time.I love the weather man here.

the weather here is unpredictible because the wind from the gorge is cold or hot and dry...
from the ocean is wet and warm or cold....is it like that there? could have different effects off the lake?

I guess it was about 65 today and sunny not much wind and the power stayed on all day.
I wanted to thank you for your comment on my article and It was pm when power went off and am when it got back on.

We are okay here. But I do agree. We have two online weather channels, one is right 75% of the time; an army radio station that only gives their weather as sunny, when at the same time we are getting a blizzard, and then ourselves. Ourselves are the ones we know we can rely on.

We in South Dakota did not get that cold. We maybe hit 20 below. I too do not listen to the weather report! But when it is so cold I noticed I hear the house groaning from the cold. Sometimes the house will pop as it contracts. When the house pops it is cold!

I guess that is one positive thing about having arthritis and migraines sensitve to pressure changes in the air around me. I can usually tell when rain or snow is coming, i get achy and sore and head hurts but no fever. I usually will tell my hubby, snow is coming and what do you know it always does, i haven't been wrong yet! LOL

lol I love when they start off by saying we're going to get a foot of snow and then as the day goes on, they reduce it. lol last time that happened we got about an inch
