Dear Friends,
I just wanted to say "Thank you." for all the comments, condolences, and concern about me and my Dad. He went Home yesterday morning. He will be greatly missed, but I realize he is in the Better Place. He was very tired, and now he has his rest.
Many of my Gather friends feel like extended family, so I just wanted to up-date you on the situation here. Forgive me for not reading your work, and commenting on it. Also, understand my lack of responding to the wonderful comments I got from you, those times I was able to vent some of my anguish in my poems.
I'm sure I'll feel 'lost' after the next few days, since I took care of Dad for the past five years, and he was my routine. So, I don't really know what kind of pattern my life will fall into now. Please bear with me at this time. Your words have helped me so much!
Remember me.
Virginia M.

Father, we lift Virginia and her loved ones up to you. Please carry them through this time of grief. Comfort them with your love and console them with your everlasting goodness. Wrap them in the knowledge of your care and the caring of so many friends and colleagues. Amen.
How wonderful that you have a father whom you can call your 'hero'.
*Mary Beth: I was very touched by your prayer. It brings tears to my eyes every time I read it.
It is so hard to lose someone near and dear to us, but belief in that better place of no more pain, just joy and pleasure, will help all of us through when it happens. God Bless you Virginia and your family.
