We stopped here to visit my husband?s family before we left Oregon. We had a good visit but after about a week we started to feel like we had over stayed our welcome. LOL
While here I took a walk and took pictures of flowers mind you it was last May.
We parked in My Brother in laws driveway and directly behind us was an underground room that they had built to hang deer no sure what they called this room. Anyways to get to the point one morning I had just gotten out of bed and was getting ready to take the dogs out. I heard this big crash crackling sound honestly it sounded like lightning had struck the motor home. I turned to ask my husband what was that he was still in bed. And I seen a flash of light just take over the whole back of the motor home. I screamed the motor home is on fire. We went running out to find his brother with a water hose spraying into this room that was behind us. Something had caused a combustion fire and the flash I seen was something that blew out the door. To make matters worse our motor home wouldn't start. No it was not on fire but we didn't want it to catch on fire either. The fire men and women came and the police and they are yelling at us to just forget the motor home and step away. Well you can bet we didn't want just stand there and watch everything we had catch on fire but we had to do just that. We got Harley and LoLu out and had to stand there in terror and also think about what his brother was going threw as he was watching his stuff burn.
It is a day we will not soon forget. And I can happily say it's been all smooth sailing since.

That brings me to its Friday the 13th are you superstitious If so in what way?
I will say on Friday the 13th I try not to go anywhere LOL...

I have heard so many superstitions that I can't even remember them all.
As for me if it weren't for bad luck I would not have any luck so I just chose to suck it up and go on. But many people are faithful about there superstitions and there is nothing you can do to change their minds. On that note I will say I hate going into town on Friday the 13th. But only because so many people are waiting on something bad to happen that they cause it to happen.

As for going into town you are so correct why bother. My hubby says I'm crazy and laughs at me but I say oh well I am who I am LOL.
I don't like it when a black cat crosses in front of me but then when a pure whit one does it makes me wonder.
I used to despise it if I broke a mirror but then I started wood scrolling and I used mirror for the backing and I cut it myself and nothing bad ever happened so that myth was no longer.
My mom says if birds fly into your windows it means there is going to be a death in the family. Me I say it's just a dumb bird LOL not that birds are dumb it's just when they smack into a clean window.
Any ways I too have definitely heard so many different things and I have only touched a few of them here but I am sure Gather people don't want me to continue LOL.
I don't believe that Friday the 13th is a bad omen. Black cats are just cats. I believe it's over in England where they believe the opposite - white cats are bad luck. Superstitions, I believe, are very interesting, but nothing more. I can't think of much that I am superstitious with, other than I always put my right shoe on first (so I remember to always put the "right" foot forward!).
I liked your comment I like watching some of those shows as long as they don't get to scary lol.
