It seems that Obama and his administration are pissed off at Fox News and are ramping up the attacks. Communications Director, Anita Dunn stated on CNN:
"What I think is fair to say about Fox -- and certainly it's the way we view it -- is that it really is more a wing of the Republican Party"
The complete article (by Fox News) is here:

What I find hilarious is that one network, Fox News, can piss off the left so effectively that the White House even needs to join in. Being that CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, most of the print media, etc., are in the tank for Obama and the Democrats (and have been for a long time), how is it that one network can piss off the left that much. Are they capable of accepting any criticism? From the article linked above:
"As for Dunn's complaint about Fox News' coverage of the Obama campaign, a study by the Pew Research Center showed that 40 percent of Fox News stories on Obama in the last six weeks of the campaign were negative. Similarly, 40 percent of Fox News' stories on Obama's Republican opponent, Sen. John McCain, were negative.
On CNN, by contrast, there was a 22-point disparity in the percentage of negative stories on Obama (39 percent) and McCain (61 percent). The disparity was even greater at MSNBC, according to Pew, where just 14 percent of Obama stories were negative, compared to a whopping 73 percent of McCain stories -- a spread of 59 points."
Who is really biased here? This past summer the Van Jones and Acorn scandals barely got a peep in the MSM. They would have died on the vine had Fox News not kept it at the forefront. One network vs. basically all the rest, and they complain. Hilarious.

You mention only the news.
A lot of broadcasters are liberal:
http://www.mrc.org/biasbasics/pdf/BiasBasics.pdf
Conservatives control virtually all AM radio stations and programming.
I wouldn't call it control. Advertising is what controls the content, and advertising is driven by ratings, and ratings are what the liberal talk radio shows lacked. Air America is a perfect example, although one clown managed to use it as a stepping stone to the U.S. Senate
Will Fox get any of the advertising for that?
I have NO love for Rupert and his gang of Libertarian Capitalism.
and his "experts" from CATO institute.
But then I don't think I have ever watched Faux News. . . .Umm It wasn't available out here on the farm until satellite, I didn't buy a dish, we never watched much tv.
Then stopped watching completely in the late 80s. I have read plenty, I am sure I don't miss anyting I want to know about.
How about listing a few of the good PUBLIC works that Fox supports? Stalkers are their latest stock in trade............smug self righteous hucksters making mountains out of molehills for the haters to obsess about. Follow the leader and you become just like them! Pitiful!
He summed up what I bet happened to start all this.
(Scene 1 - White House, office of Rahm Emanuel)
Mr. Emanuel strides in his office, sloughs off his coat, sits at his desk and props his feet up on the end.
Grabbing the remote control, he decides to check out ESPN for the latest sports news.
As he channel surfs, he sees Fox News and decides "what the hey, oughta be good for few laughs".
Only it's not....it's full of the lies, misconceptions, and twists of logic this administration has rained down on the American people since inauguration day plus one.
Mr. Emanuel's blood boils, and as he curses softly under his breath a plan is already forming in his mind...............
If you're honest, you'll see Fox's reporting is more balanced than the others.
That's what I've found, anyway.
Doesn't 'BALANCE" mean balance in your world?
Fox news should wear this cowardly childish behaviour as a badge of honor. It shows they are doing their job as investigative journalist, just like Woodward and Bernstein xposed a illegal corrupt Nixon White House.
Tricky Dick-Tricky Obama==== Obama saying you FOX will not have me to kick around anymore. As the helicopter takes him away??
Comparing Obama to Nixon, that is a stretch. But then you make no claims to being educated or intellectual.
For example: liberal and fascist are antonyms, not synonyms.
Jimmy Carter
Teddy Kennedy
Chris Dodd
Barney Frank
Billy Clinton
Hilly Clinton
Roman Polanski
Bill Ayers
and the brilliant
Barack Hussein Obama Jr.----umm-umm-umm!
Thank you Jesus for keeping me from becoming a liberal educated intellectual like
Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
Cena I went to a great and prestigious High School.
It seems like only the primarily left-wing Dobbs has got it right that opposition to illegal immigration and excessive legal immigration (AKA domestic outsourcing) is a pro-liberal position (not right wing), because it os protective of the American pooor and working class.
When MSNBC reporters like Rachel, Keith, et al report in support of immigration, they are NOT liberal. They are the New Right, supporting big business's demand for cheap labor to boost profits, at the expense of the American worker.
By the same token, Fox does go overboard some, in criticizing Obama and many worthwhile liberal causes such as national health care, and the liberal channels, offer a good response to that.
The weapon that the Obama administration, who is Anita Dunn, stated that one of her favorite philosophers is Mao Tse-Tung , who was one of the most horrific mass-murderers of the 20th Century.
Humor or not, it doesn't matter. What she said was the equivalent of walking in to the Holocaust museum and stating that Hitler was one of her favorite philosophers.
Any intelligent person would tie this in with Obama surrounding himself with left wing Marxist extremists and then be very concerned. But then again, those of you who are defending just such are the same people who were raising hell against Bush, who's grandfather was sending money to Nazi Germany during WWII and who surrounded himself with Right Wing extremists..and are too uneducated to realize that both are one and the same.
But I suppose that none of that matters to you as long as you get free Government sponsored health care.
Now just who's making their self look dumb, Spartan?
"Their Self"? YOU! LOL

No humor nor anything quoted out of out of context.
the third lesson and tip actually comes from two of my favorite political philosophers - Mao Tse Tung and Mother Teresa, not often coupled with each other but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point, which is you're going to make choices.
.... In 1947, when Mao Tse Tung was being challenged within his own party on his plan to basically take China over, Chiang Kai-Shek and the nationalist Chinese held the cities, they had the army. They had the air force. They had everything on their side, and people said how can you win? How can you do this? How can you do this? Against all the odds against you, and Mao Tse Tung said, you know, you fight your war, and I'll fight mine, and think about that for a second.
So Spartan, do you actually find that to be humorous? If so, then the joke is on you.
"TEL AVIV – President Obama's presidential campaign focused on "making" the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was "controlled," White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.
"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.
"One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters," said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama's chief campaign manager.
"We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it," Dunn said. "

Can we all assume that you want Newt Gingrich burned at the stake for agreeing with AND quoting Chairman Mao in a speech before Congress in 1995? LOL
This isn't about partisan politics Spartan.
