I always wondered when I have seen ROTFLMAO posted how many people actually have done it. I now can say I have!!! While perusing today's new stories, one regarding Obama's "lesson plan" had a comment section that I read also. One particular poster named Metric had this to say and I thought I would share it here:
Libtards - Just a generation away from "You ain't got no legs Lieutenant Dan"
I'm still laughing as I am writing this. To Metric, whoever you are, thank you for making my day.

Are you laughing because the threat is anti-lib
or because the poster is so ignorant
Anywan I posted about the Education speech news today.. . .
Don't go read if you hate libs.

I am liberal and a Democrat
"Are you laughing because the threat is anti-lib"
You're right, I shouldn't be laughing at lib's, it is like laughing at a developmentally delayed (PC sarcasm) individual.
I am an Independent, that will never tow the line of any party.
You will never have a voice in our government.
Stay independent.
Good boy. . . .pats Eaymon on head, ~~~~waves bye
See you at the 2010 mid-terms.
Just ashamed to admit you have been voting for the greedy Republicam pigs who raped stole the wealth and worth from the middle class and working class of this nation.
Actually, just to let you know, two friends of mine are very active in the Democrat party. He is a precinct manager and his wife was a delegate to the 2000 nominating convention for Gore. The rabid far left elements which you definitely fall into are pissing off the Democrats as a whole. Their my way or the highway mentality just isn't working anymore, just as it didn't for the Republicans. Everytime you and one of you're ilk (Van Jones for instance) open your mouths, you lose support for your Communist Utopia. I believe this theory will be proven come 2010 and solidified come 2012. Have patience my freeloading friend. Things will return to some kind of balanced normalcy, but you are going to have to get up in the morning and fend for yourself. BO's checks won't be coming anymore.
follow this link to see delusion say a fellow gatherer is gonna get sued for posting a list about the democrat socialist party

Today's Illusion Aug 29, 2009, 4:41pm EDT
Linda has challenged me to prove that the Democrat Congresspersons and Senators on her list are not members of the Democrat Socialist Policital party.
I don't have to prove anything.
But I believe she has committed slander here, and I have sent a copy of the list not only to each person on the list form whom I could find an email. I have also sent a copy to the Democrat National Party. I will be sending it to others as I think of them.
We don't know if Linda W. is one of the ignorant, lied to and mislead by the conservatives, or if she is one of their paid operatives, a la Hannity/Limbaugh/Pat Robertson(who being in religion made too much money from his pay offs and had to quit as a religious leader)
But it does not matter if she is one of the duped or one of the dupers.
She has posted slander, and slander is against the law.
Some one on that list will be willing to sue her.
Linda W. Aug 30, 2009, 3:35pm EDT
Sue me for what, you cannot sue someone for telling the truth. And maybe I should sue you for slander. Because I am neither a dupe or a paid operative. So you are slandering my good name. I will get my lawyer right on it.
See how totally absurd you are. Your name should be Today's Delusion.
Linda W. Aug 30, 2009, 3:40pm EDT
Oh, BTW, I almost forgot. HAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAHAAA. Thanks, I really needed a good laugh today. I used to get upset when I would read some of the stuff that you guys post, but now it is just getting really old and really funny. So now I just get on Gather to get a good laugh every day. If you really did send this out that is exactly what the people are doing that you sent it to. Laughing their a--es off.
Nora J A. Aug 30, 2009, 3:40pm EDT
Today's Delusion' remark of "I don't have to prove anything"... that says it all doesn't it?
Linda W. Aug 30, 2009, 5:29pm EDT
Sure does Nora.
Linda W. Aug 30, 2009, 8:41pm EDT
You are right, you do not have to prove anything. And from what I can see you are really good at it.

Lady of Lake Merritt ... Aug 31, 2009, 3:11am EDT
i was going to point out what nora did.
obviously delusion doens't know the answer so it states it has nothing to prove.
geeze with this sue frenzy! soooo out of control now, if delusion thinks your list warrents actually court perceddings then it's not wonder dumb criminals sue their victims when the criminals get hurt in the process of a crime.
not everything, especially not this, requires a court case!!!
Look it up.
Why I don't have to prove anything,
I am not being slandered.
I sent the list to the people who are being slandered.
Why does that bother you?
The UK is much stricter on this than the U.S.A.
Poor Savage, him being such an Anglophile and all.
Attack opponent for using same tactics you use?
------smirk-----
The Dem filed charges and won.
North or south Carolina.
Plus, Savage is no friend of mine. I think he is a hypocrite.
Geeze, did you take your happy pills today?
It is over I don't care now, the Rep. lost.
As a registered Independent, I feel compelled to present both sides of this sad story.
Yes, Today's Illusion, many Republicans (George Bush is just the latest) have done what you say. BUT, many Republicans have been on the side of fighting against illegal immigration, and excessive legal immigration, which has also done exactly what you described, while most Democrats have been supporting it.
1. Took jobs away from American workers ( and gave them to aliens).
2. Allowed wages to be reduced by hiring foreign cheap labor.
3. Handed tax billion$ over to immigrants (many illegal) in human services.
4. Allowed $45 Billion/yr (last I checked), to be extracted out of the US economy in remittances, for years.
And he stopped all enforcemtnt..
I know, I am a farmer, and the "La Migra" vans ran around picking up workers until Geo. W. was elected, then the vans...vanished.
We felt the employer sanctions should have been enforced.
Take construction work; It once paid good wages, . . . . all jobs to illegals.
Dems are not "for" the illegal immigrants, it is quite stupid to think you are going to be able round up all thes 13 million people and ship them home.
Thank Geo. W.
and our GIANT Farma and Meat / Chicken Industry/ Contractors
Janitorial service companies. Restaurants/hotels.
NONE willing to pay decent wages.
No one enforced the employer sanctions except for a few raids towards the end of the Geo. W years.
Doesn't it bother you even a little bit, that you don't have a single original or independent thought.
That every phrase you type, every thought you posses, was fed to you by the conservative think tanks.
That not a single news organization in this nation is "liberal" not even NPR & PBS.
Don't you know anything about the de-regulation of the newspapers and brodcast companies allowed the concentration of information to a very tiny handful of organizations.
Look at the board members and executives, look at the board members and executives of the conservative think tanks.
Tell me again you are independent.
That every phrase you type, every thought you posses, was fed to you by the conservative think tanks."
That's what pisses most people off about the far left. Condescending, arrogant attitudes.
The Washington Post admitted they were in the tank for BO after the elections. About 10 years ago a poll found that 85% of journalists identified themselves as Democrat or liberal.

I'm sure you'll ignore these sites though. Probably controlled by CATO, LOL.
You need to get out more.
I don't gather "information" form news organizations.
I do avoid opinion blogs. left or right.
Contrary to all that, I like leters to the editor kind of stuff, and the ordinary gather items,
not scientifically sample of ordaniary people's thinking.
Yours for example.
So where's the "crock". I didn't say he stopped immigration, only that he was among the "greedy Republicam pigs who raped stole the wealth and worth from the middle class and working class of this nation."
So, he "did everything but send welcome wagons to the borders", huh ? Well. no shit, Sherlock. I've been writing about that for 3 years, here in Gather, where have you been ?
We felt the employer sanctions should have been enforced."
As an registered Independent, I havfe plenty of times raked Republicans over the coals in these threads (and still do) for their unjust policies like tax cuts for the rich, opposition to national health care (I suggest national LEGAL care too), environmental cutbacks, worker's rights cutbacks, etc.
I also howver am just as apt to scold the Democrats for their misdeeds, and my stomach literally turned at the notion Democrats "hate the illegal immigration situation."
Yeah ? Trouble is, they haven't been hating it enough to cast their Congressional votes against the recurring amnesty bills, or a whole mess of legislation (usually proposed by them) which is favorable to illegal immigration, and illegal aliens. Likewise, they don't do very well to vote for legislation that would oppose illegal immigration. A most recent example is the eligibilty verification amendment proposed by Rep. Dean Heller (R-NV), in the House Ways & Means Committee. This important amendment, which would block illegals from obtaining US government health care under HR 3200, and block a tidal wave of new illegal immigration spurred on by passage of the bill (if without the the amendment), was voted against by a solid, shameful, gang of Democrats.
There are hundreds of other examples. Democrats have been paralyzed with fear of the rising tide of Hispanic population and have been pandering to it, sickeningly. Some Republicans have pandered to to illegal employers. Far more Democrats have supported the illegals though.
The last time I pointed this out, the other poster said, well they can lie and get coverage.
Obtaining care via fraud is not the same as a law allowing care.
Are you confused that A liberal like me, might consider it immoral to punish people who were openly encouraged to come for the jobs, were often, not paid, abused, . . rada lada
all that.
Not wanting to punish the illegals is not the same as supporting illegal immigrants.
I am curious, you do know i presume, that in New York, NY, Boston, MA, San Francisco CA, Los Angeles, CA, a few other cities, there is significant numbers of illegal Irish immigrants?
Do you want these mostly young white illegals treated the same as those brown Mexican/Central/South American illegals?
Then there are the Chinese, Korean, Indian, Pakistani, Philippine, Vietnamese, Cambodian,
Most of these, (not the Chinese) come in on visitor visas and never go home.
Real mess, no?
How do you think we should "fix" the problem, I am interested.
I think the employers should pay for the health costs incurred by the illegal immigrants.
In some case this is possible, meat packing, chicken processing, the giant farms.
a few other industries that hire large numbers of illegals.
I have seen anyone propose this "anti-business" idea.
No shit. I haven't heard anyone saying anything about "a law allowing care." At least not until here in this thread. Nobody's ever said that. The way illegals will definitely access national health care here, will be illegally (like how they do everything else), and quite easily IF the citizenship verification safeguards (WHICH DEMOCRATS 100% VOTED AGAINST) are not enacted and enforced, to the hilt.
The tidal wave of illegal immigration that likely will ensue if this idiotic scenario were to unfold (ie. without the verifications) will very likely ruin the entire program and bankrupt it in no time.
National health insurance (PUBLIC option included) is too important a thing to be screwed up, just because some screwball Democrats in the Congress are afraid of the Hispanic vote, present and future.
They certainly can't claim that they were "encouraged to come for the jobs" by the American people whose laws forbid their arrival here without going through legal immigration channels. Sure they might have been '"encouraged to come for the jobs"
by criminal employers violating the 1986 IRCA Act, but people anywhere ought to have sense enough to know that encouragement from criminals to engage in crime is improper and should not be done.
That depends on how far one is willing to go and exactly what you mean by "Not wanting to punish the illegals". Frankly, I think anyone committing any CRIME should be punished for it, and that includes EWI, stealing Social Security #s, stealing identities, etc.
If one has symparthy for illegal aliens, the better way to express it is to implore the US government to pressure Mexico, et al countries sending illegals here, to stop doing that, and to stop neglecting their people, causing them to come here. The more you support
illegals, the wider open is the safety valve for Mexican plutocrats to neglect the countrymen. That hurts the illegals, not helps them.
Of course. Why would I not want them to be treated the same (especially considering that I am a "brown" Central American person (Belize) myself (50% Belizean, 50% Danish). I've, many times, given my thoughts to "legalizetheirish.org.
See my recent article entitled "Visa Overstays. The Other Illegal Immigration Problem (USA Today's Opinion)". Just click on my name (in blue) then on "my posts". This article is only 4 days old, so it's close to the top. Since I was in the library and running out of time, I didn't put my own summary in there, just a copy/paste from USA Today, but a commenter asked for my opinion.
Here's the answer I gave him :
"My thoughts are that I agree with USA Today, that the Obama administration needs to get to work on protecting the American people from this country being invaded, occupied, and plundered for its jobs, tax $$, and loss from our economy (remittances).
A possible solution would be to require visa holders to report their addresses, phone #s, email, etc. about every 3 months. If they disappear, find & deport them. Same if they fail to exit upon visa expiration.
Yes, this would cost more money, but as an Independent with far-left leanings, I support huge tax increases on the richest Americans, as well as reductions of government waste. If there's will, there's way."
What about all that "national security" of the Bush years.
. . .
A few years ago, I wrote my 2 senators and congressman about this.
All dems. . .
The one that made me the angriest.
from my Congressman. I live in a farm area, with very high unemployment.
His answer.
Our farmers need the illegal immigrants.
So, all we can do is once again send them letters.
I don't think trying to round up all of them can be considered.
at 12-14 million, it would take a military/police action that would border on police state like tactics. Far too ugly to contemplate.
A good benefit of our Mexican/Central and South American illegal immigrants.
The are very like us in ideals and values.
I will not mind them becoimg legal residents and the ones who wish citizens.
They are my neighbors, their children were/are my children's friends and I am fond of them.
They did not create the crisis they were caught up in.
Yes, they are here illegaly.
The real problem is the employers.
And all our pro-business Representatives/Senators.
And all our pro-business Representatives/Senators. "
And enforcement of IRCA is the answer. Lock them out of the job market and they will self-deport.
