Earlier this week i posted about the 10$ worth of free food from Schwans.com

Did you get yours?

I received mine yesterday, i had ordered the cheese stuffed paste and it looks really good, and i will prepare those tomorrow. the guy also brought me a catalog and i must say their food looks really good.

It is kinda pricey but i may order some one of these days

I received mine today. I ordered the 6 cheese tortelini. The kids and I liked them. I made alfredo sauce with them, lettuce and garlic sticks for dinner today.

I am like Renee, I didn't do it since I did not want them to try to get me to buy more stuff. I really hate it when people knock on my door and want me to buy things.

I buy their chicken breasts, diced chicken and ice cream. I've not been pleased with their steaks. The food is pricey. Compare it to Market Day and you'll see that Schwan's is more expensive. MD food is better, too.

We got ours on tuesday, it is a lot more expensive than I remember when my family used to order. There is some sorbet that i would like to try though and there was a coupon in the book, so we are going to get that.

I've seen Scwans around for years. I never thought to check them out until this offer, thanks! I actually took advantage of the $10 free and made one order to check it out. Some things do seem to be really rather pricey, but if you shop around the sight some things aren't that bad...especially since it's being delivered.
I used to do Market Day, but was never all that impressed. I also checked out Angel Food Ministries...their quality is really rather poor...but you get what you pay for.
I work and share a ride, so anytime I can have something delivered or I can pick it up close to home is a real life saver for me.

We used to get Angel Food. We stopped because 1) a woman there got very nasty with me because my van wouldn't start, so I arrived an hour late, right before they closed. She said that I wouldn't get my food the next time I was late. 2) My daughter put their green beans in the microwave to cook, and they were shooting off sparks. We decided that maybe it was a plot to slowly poison low-income people. lol

Yikes! That's scary! Yeah, I have my concerns about Angel Food too...granted I never had any experience like that myself...but the food quality was really awful.

I ordered and got mine. I ordered the 6 cheese tortellini and it was pretty good. I also ordered the root beer float ice cream treats and a few other things, it's all good. I give Schwans 4 stars :)~

I didn't get mine yet. But what was weird was everyone said their email gave them a delivery date. Mine didn't. I looked and I saw where it should have been, but it was blank. I hope they didn't come while I was out. I'll have to call them today.

I called today and I'm glad I did or I would have missed them. My delivery was scheduled today so I waited to run errands until after they left. Still can't believe 2 lb of chicken legs would have been $10! Won't be ordering from there!

yes - & the delivery guy was very pleasant! i got the green bean fries, and the vegie stir-fry (the limited time blend) - i paid full price 4 1 of the items - but i wanted both. A friend of mine got the chicken teriyaki. Next time she's gonna get the orange asian chicken. I'm gonna try the pizza and/or pasta next time. It seems pricey - but i also factor in the amount that u get, along w/ the amazing quality - also the great customer service - as well as the fact that they came 2 my door!!!! The desserts look soooooooo yummy!! But i'm gonna try 2 avoid gettin the sweet stuff (if i can) - & focus on the healthy/hearty offerings. BTW - i do recommend the green bean fries - they r soooooooo good!

Yes, mine was delivered today, the delivery man was really nice. I ordered Shrimp Scampi. HE also informed me that they do not knock on your door and bug you you either order more or you don't period , he also said that we would get no phone calls. He did give me a few coupons as a new costomer that I can use or not and actually with the coupons those items are cheaper then the store. My sister, my husbands brother and my son all received there orders too.

I got mine Tuesday. One whole gallon of Rocky Road ice cream. It cost me $1.02 with the tax, but it is worth it! He will be back in 2 weeks and I plan to order some Apple Floutas. They are one of my favorites! :)
