I have emailed several rescue groups about this case, asking, begging them to save this dog, i emailed our local news station, asking them to contact the dog owner with info and phone numbers for those rescue groups.
But i dont think anyone cares about this dog, it will be "another Pitbull euthanized after biting"...
the news director emailed me today that the dog will be put down, she will find out tomorrow and then update their newspage...
:-(
I wish someone would stop all this killing of dogs, just because they have made one mistake. its not like a husband or wife will be killed if they make a mistake by hitting or abusing someone...

My neighbor & former roommate has a pit bull, and he lived with us when we had our son. That dog was the best 'babysitter' Coby has ever had (please note the quotes; Coby has never been away from me or my boyfriend except perhaps in the next room).
I once left the bedroom with Coby on the bed & the dog, Bruno, lying behind him... Coby began to cry, & when I got back into the room, Bruno had gotten up to lie in front of him, where he could see him...so Coby knew he wasn't alone.
Pit bulls, when raised responsibly, are absolutely the most loving & protective animals. Bruno once stepped on a visiting dog's head & forced him back to prevent the other dog from getting into the bedroom where Coby was.
But...people who want scary dogs want pits, and they train them (or abuse them) to make them vicious & violent. There are other dogs that will respond the same way to this type of upbringing, but they're not as popular, so pits get stuck with the stigma.
My dogs are of more "value" to me than most people!
there is always a risk when having dogs and little kids, and you should know this upfront, something can happen anytime, no matter how long you had your dog, and no matter what breed it is.
if you are expecting a baby, and have a dog, you have to really watch your dog, see how he reacts to the new family member, and if you have any doubt about your child being save around your pet, find a new home for your pet...
and only god knows what really happened when the dog bite the little one... i mean for what reason he bite.... the dog can not defend his self and the baby is to small to tell.
the only thing i can tell you, my dog will not snap at anyone for no reason. my daughter pulls his tail and stuff like this, or pinches him, then he will try to snap at her, but he is still a puppy and learning....
