Iraq War Veterans deserve our votes this November. The President, Dick Cheney and even Rumsfeld have told us we need to support our troops, and our returning veterans. Well, the ultimate form of support this November is at the ballot box.
The Democrats have several true American War heroes from the Iraq War running this November, and these soldiers come politicians have shown us they have the metal to serve our country with PRIDE AND DIGNITY. Tammy Duckworth, a Democratic congressional candidate from Illinois lost both her legs when her Blackhawk helicopter was shot down in Iraq, but she's in a serious dog fight against Illinois Republican Peter Roskam. At this point, the two are virtually in a dead heat. Who better to be TOUGH ON NATIONAL SECURITY than an American Soldier who gave up her legs for her nation?
Decorated war hero Patrick Murphy is running for a Congressional Seat in Pennsylvania because he BELIEVES IN AMERICA, and believes we need a change. The Republican party has been ATTACKING these two fine outstanding Americans, claiming they have no experience, have no political resume. I disagree. These Veterans have shown they have guts, honor and INTEGRITY. These Veterans have shown they have an unquestioned love of America, have bleed for the Red, White and Blue. If you live in one of these districts where an Iraq War Veteran is on the ballot, get out and vote for them, they have EARNED your support.

Porgie, you're insane as usual.
How does an acid freak judge sanity?
Good comment, I felt the same way when I read this article.
Liberal candidates probably won't get my vote, no matter what party they're from. I am happy that there are qualified veterans running for Congress, but their military service is just one of many criteria I check out. Left Wingers, even if they've won the Congressional Medal of Honor, would likely get creamed due to their non-mainstream views..............and rightly so.
