Jimmy Carter speaks out on race

I agree with Jimmy Carter based on some of the people I know. Those who are speaking out on TV saying Jimmy is wrong don't know anything for sure. You never know what's in someone else's heart.

Clearly many of Obama's critics are racists.
I am glad Jimmy Carter spoke up.

If anyone knows the hearts of the south I would think it would be Jimmy Carter. Of course many are going to pooh pooh his comments, but many are in denial - maybe of even their own deep dark feelings. Many of the pre-civil rights segregationists are still here and they raised a generation of children and grandchildren who share their values. I too am glad that Jimmy spoke up. He speaks the truth, but the truth isn't always appreciated.
