It never ceases to amaze me how the feds can run through $4,000,000,000.00 so quickly, about six days really. That's four billion dollars I wrote there. Now I hear they are adding two more billion to that figure. Maybe that will last another two days. How fast could you spend $4,000,000,000? I would bet it would take an ordinary person a lifetime to spend that amount of money because how many villas could you buy and actually live in and enjoy? I don't know, three maybe, four, tops. Who would want to run around the world moving personal affects every three months? Still, it would take a very long time to spend that amount of money, but our government has no problem with it, and can run through it in six days!!!! Six Days!!! On Cash for Clunkers!! Brilliant. NOT!!!!
I wonder how many SUV's were in the mix in these trades? And I wonder how many people can actually afford the payments on these newer more energy efficient cars? Who knows, there may be more cars on the market in six months, or less, I've never had a car repoe'd before so I don't know which is correct if you don't make your payment.
So, how fast can you spend $4,000,000,000? (That's FOUR BILLION DOLLARS in case you weren't paying attention.)

The person who presented the bill was talking on the news and she said that she first wanted four billion and it may take that to extend the program for the time that they promised it. It's just another reason we don't want the government regulating our healthcare in my opinion. We just returned this afternoon from a gathering of folks in our area who are working hard to make this next election one we can be proud of and vote in folks who understand the original principles this nation was founded on and will work to get us back to those principles.
What bothers me is that this is "well fare" for people who can afford those new car payments. Our tax dollars are going to people who do not need welfare (after all, they bought big, gas guzzlers) and who pays for the national debt--Your CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN.
