Like many of you , I am very concerned about the economy. It is not looking good and with the prices of just about everything raising rapidly, we can no longer expect the government or anyone else to help us out when we need help. Have you noticed how many of us are just living paycheck to paycheck. One just never knows when we may go to work to find that they are laying everyone off. That is scary for each of us. Let's face it, we may all be on slippery ice when it comes to our finances.

I have been hearing that there is a shortage of some foods including wheat. The weather is changing so much that it is harder to raise a garden than ever before.
I think with all the global probelsm we are in some real trouble.
I actually need income to use any of these :(
I just posted an article on cereal prices.
Sometimes it seems the middle class & lower do not get many breaks.
Great timing on sharing this with us!
It is pretty easy to make your pancakes and waffles and then freeze them. Pull out what you need for that mornings breakfast and pop it right in your toaster, just like store bought. The same thing can be done to pop tarts. Make your own and freeze them until you want to eat them.
I think it is horrible what has happened to the consumer products but not to the comsumers pay.
Make changes now, because it isn't getting any better.
Great links- thank you! While I am concerned ( especially because I am not working right now) I try not to focus on it too much. If everyone worries, it gives too much energy to the negative side of things. I think people should just concentrate on how to increase their income and manage their finances better - that would be much more fun than worrying. Worrying is bad for you ;-) It gives you frown lines!
I am with Joy, if you are not of the rich or well off, you are just plained screwed. The middle class usually makes just a little over to get any financial aid from the Government and then the low income, they don't even get enough really to take care of their family.
This whole economy is just sad........
