He's been doing this for a while but I had noticed how fast trhey went up. I never really looked at the articles because I had no interest in the subject mater. Why not flag one for review by the Gather staff?

I've actually been enjoying revisiting the old eps... and joined the profile knowing that it said that's what would be going on with it... that said, I do get it's a different strokes for different folks thing and perhaps you weren't expecting to get to revisit the show to date.

Romantic....if I want to revisit the show, I can do it without someone basically cutting stuff into Gather from another site....

Take anything he has put up, copy a small part of it into your browser, and it will take you right to where he is cutting and pasting from...last I looked, isn't that copyright infringement?

Next, when we get over 20 emails in two hours because of his antics, he is spamming us.

Nanci....have sent staff a letter suggesting they look at all these posts, as every one of them is a cut and paste from another site...have also flagged three of them for a look as well.

I haven't run across the articles yet, but doesn't Gather have a strong policy on screen names that impersonate? Isn't Michael Scofield the character from Prison Break?

I know its copyright however as long as the writer from the site is given the credit as far as him posting where its from and the authors name its not really copyright, its in the faq on gather however if he is not putting in the original writer then yes its wrong,

Merrin....not sure, but do not think Gather, or Fox envisioned someone literally cutting and pasting every episode word for word here on Gather....secondly, we are awarded points for our articles among other things, and those points can be converted into cash, which means some could infer that such cutting and pasting amounts to someone being financially enriched through such antics....just my opinion.

Hi all, I wanted to publicly apologize, as I've told Porgie in messages we've exchanged in the past hour, I am removing the articles... it was never my intent to offend, just to try and spark conversation about the show by helping folks re-visit the eps... as the profile states I posted it to share my love of the show and as a place to share the Fox ep descriptions and see what folks thought of 'em... in retrospect, it seems not my best idea, and I clearly didn't understand gather as well as I might... a newbie mistake I will endeavor not to repeat... again

Porgie you are right there is a limit to ones pasting A WHOLE SHOW i didnt relize this till i saw his articles,well seems his apoligies are real and hes a newbie , which we all have been there before his intentions were good but yes rather distastful to some

If it's an honest mistake, then it's easily forgiven, "Michael." However, I'm sure many share your enthusiam for both the show and the character. Why not include a link to the episodes in an article giving your own view of the show? Tell us why you like it, what draws you back each week, why you identify with the main character so much and how it has affected you. If you really want to highlight each inidvidual showing, give the link to the "Official" synopsis and then give us your take on the episode. Tell us what you got out of it, what you thought of the twists and turns, where you think it's going next...You not only draw attention to the show that way, but allow us all to get to know you, which is what Gather is really all about.

There are two prison break groups already on here... I had hoped revisiting the eps would prompt discussion... as I said, a newbie mistake I will try not to repeat... and while I am "eager" to try what you suggest... there is a very large part of me that can't help but fear I'll be shot down again... that said... I'll build up a little courage, look for some creativity amongst the cobwebs in my brain, and see what I can come up with. :)
