I live in a fairly big city, and yesterday afternoon around 3:30 I stopped to get gas. As I was pumping my gas a large red pick-up truck pulled up at the pump in front of me and a woman got out and also began to pump gas. The woman was probably in her late 50’s, dressed like a mom with a fleece jacket and jeans on. When she turned to put the pump in her car I noticed that the right side of her face was VERY badly beaten. She had a black eye, her jaw was badly bruised, and there was a huge gash on the side of her face. It was the most horrible bruising I have ever seen, and it was confined to one side of her face. So, as many of you already have done I assumed she was with a man who beats her. She went inside to pay for her gas, and I decide to glance into the truck to see if the ass who beat the hell out of this lady was sitting warm in the truck while this poor woman pumped and paid for gas… In the truck was a large Hispanic woman holding a very small baby. Ok. So now I’m perplexed slightly. Why is the Hispanic lady out in 30 degree weather with a small baby, in a truck being driven by a horribly beaten woman. What brought them to this gas station, in a reasonably affluent part of town at 3 in the afternoon? The woman comes out of the gas station, adjusts a tarp in the back of the truck, gets in the truck and pulls out. I had finished pumping gas, so I pullout behind them. As I’m waiting to turn out of the parking lot I notice that what’s underneath the tarp is a dead horse. There is huge amount of something under the tarp, but the thing closest to the end of the tailgate is defiantly the rear end of a horse. What?!? So, I’ve been asking everyone. What was going on in this scenario?

This is very perplexing!
It's a mystery!
This has all the classic signs of great mystery, all we need now is a smoking gun.
I think that the horse had nothing to do with it because after an accident with horse you go to the hospital. I think murder is a foot and they were fleeing the scene of serious crime. What I don't understand is why they would allow the younger woman to be seen by people, if a police officer saw that, he would have to investigate.
I thought I had a weird life because I am always running into things that don't seem right or something is out of place.
Your going to get a lot of comments on this one… it's a good conversation piece.
If the woman was holding the baby on her lap without a car seat you should have called the police and reported her though. If they get into a wreck the horse may end up being only one of several dead bodies in the truck!
