Just in On FOX News...700 Mile Fence is a Go!

Personally I advocate building something like the Great Wall of China with the top having two traffic lanes and we conduct long distance racing on the top of it, when the military is not running tanks, etc. while on patrol. Think of all the jobs we could create in building it and then all of the money and jobs that we would create for the people to come watch the races!

Arthur I agree with your comments about red necks being good people. I do not, however, believe that you can sustain the argument that rednecks founded this country. None of the founding fathers that I know of would fit that description: Washington (don't think so he was one of richest men in the colonies) Jefferson (not hardly he was scholar and intellectual type) Adams (don't think so most prominent family in Boston) Hamilton (nope he came from a poor back ground but disdained the common man -- was probably just as well that Burr shot him) Franklin (don't think so, very rich but did put on his coonskin cap to flirt with the ladies at the French Court, but hardly a redneck). A fence will do nothing!! What we need is a 700 mile long, 30 ft high, 8 ft thick, steel-reinforced concrete wall. With guard towers, and attack dogs, and machine guns, and razor wire, and mine fields.....

it is a sad day that we build a fence. but mexico aids and abets people to cross the border. the remittances home are larger than their two biggest industries. they have a high unemployment rate and they think this solves their problem.

the problem is that illegal immigrants don't necessarily have allegiance to our government or our people. they don't necessarily want to be good citizens. and some of them weren't good citizens back in their home country.

James....for starters, read the FINE PRINT of the Senate bill. It it had passed into law, illegals on the pathway to citizenship would have inherited SUPER RIGHTS in the USA, and included in that was also a TAX AMNESTY.

Just a very simple way to stop the Mexican worker from coming to the US is let those in Congress pass the one more Bill like NAFTA.....hey wait, they are working on one.....It is call CAFTA, The Central American Free Trade Aggreement.

Then let all vote for leaders that give tax breaks to companies that take jobs and move them to nations where they can pay a wage for a weeks work, that is equal to what they pay in the USA.
