Aaah...but then one must consider the "sources" being used! If they are worldnetdaily, newsmax, or Clusterfox Noise...those sources immediately become suspect!

Well, there's a whole hell of a lot of people that only listen to those that agree with them, no matter the consensus of opinion from a number of experts, or a thousand, or a million, so yeah, that would be a personal opinion. Of course it would, in most cases, also be wrong, but that doesn't seem to bother the faux news sheeple. What in the world could you possibly use the Bible as a valid reference for, if all parties to the debate aren't Christians, and don't accept it on pure faith as you do?

Hi Cena W. Not sure of what you mean by a fact is verifyable. I have to deal with experts a lot. Trust me Great minds do not think alike. I have read many papers and the peer reviews. Very often each opinion, even when not supportive of each other is based on hard facts.

Did you read about that "Hobbit" find? One researcher, using the same artifacts and bones from that dig, concluded that they had found a grave of someone who was microcephalous. She had excellent reasons for her conclusion. None of the other reviewers countered her conclusion.

Facts are verifiable i agree, but perception and interpretation is often subjective.

There are lots of verifiable facts in the Bible that could not possibly have been known to the writer.

I actually believe that it is possible for the entire world to be wrong on a particular fact except me. Hasn't happened yet, but it is very possible.

I never ignore the minority opinion. I always want to know what it is. Many minoroty opinions are now accepted as truth.

Archeopterix is now considered a bird, Homo Neanderthalus is now Homo Sapiens. Now a "Hobbit" find has a minoroty opinion that it is a microcephalus Homo Sapiens find.

So I don't believe just because the experts say so. I will forever remain a free thinker and self-correcter. The experts have usually been able to convince me, but not all the time.

Hi Fred. The independent reviewers do the verifying. Would you like to review for verification some stuff in the Bible? Actually that has been done many times. Dr. Louis Pasteur confirmed the wisdom of Hebrew sanitary laws. Dr Kenyon has confirmed a lot of the archeological details and anthropology. I have also read confirmation of the first flood mentioned by Moses (The one that occured before life appeared). My daughter quoted from the Bible in her university papers; none of those quotes were said to be unacceptable.

The prophet Daniel had predicted the rise and division of the Greek empire into four kingdoms that would then be reduced to two rival kingdoms. He also said that that kingdom would fall to another world power that would not be overthrown. The Roman Empire took over the Greek empire, but was not overthrown. Daniel said that the world empire that would follow would originate from an insignificant part of the former Roman Empire. That proved to be Brittain.

And Yes Ron. All the "experts" are indeed "free thinkers" and I am glad that they all are.
