2 for $20...a Great Deal

If you have an Applebees in your neighborhood, you need to visit and check out their menu 2 for $20.

Ed and I went to dinner Friday night. I had a $20 gift card so we decided to go to Aplebees. We had forgotten about the 2 for $20 menu but was easily reminded with the big insert in the menu.

On the 2 for $20 menu you get an appetizer to share and two entrees. For the appetizer we had the onion rings with spicy ranch dip. Yummy!

For my entree, I had the Fiesta Lime Chicken. Instead of rice that comes with it, I substituted steamed broccoli. It was heavenly! Ed had the 7 oz. sirloin, baked potato with sour cream and butter and asparagus. He said the steak was tender and delicious.

My daughter loves the Fiesta Lime Chicken and I like the 7 oz. sirloin. We usually get the spinach and artichoke dip for the appetizer.

Hubby and I do the 2 for $20 when we go to Applebee's. We usually wait until I have gift certificates from one of my survey sites and then we go. It's a good deal and they have great choices available for it.

What a great deal Nancy! We have an Applebees here but the place is sooooo noisey you can't have a conversation, maybe I can find a different location for hubby and I to visit.
