So my laptop can’t be fixed. Well, it can, but it will cost almost the amount of a new desktop to fix it. We are probably going to go that route. If anyone has a suggestion on a reasonably priced desktop we would appreciate it. Oh and if I disappear again – this is why – our laptop is supposed to die any day now – could be an hour or a month and once it does it will take us awhile to save up for the new desktop. Dan - We were told that the laptop would die soon & the loudness of the fan would be a fair testament to that so we want to compile a list of possiable new desktops so we can save for one.
Debra - we need to go online & we both write so some sort of word program and we both like our MP3 players and to take digital photo's so a good amount of memory is needed. We only have a laptop now so we would need everything but a printer. Any size monitor would do - we are both near sighted :)
