Several years ago, I planted a bunch of flower and plant seeds in my front yard. I had got a lot of free wildflower and assorted seeds and I just planted them all, to see what would grow.
For the past several years, I've had a lot of green plants but no flowers aside from the roses that were already here when I got here.
This year, we have been in a level 4 draught for over a year. We can't water anything and some plants are suffering. Yet, when I went outside yesterday, one plant had actually flowered for the very first time.
I know it's not very spectacular looking, but that it bloomed at all in these circumstances after all this time really is amazing and i
nspiring to me.
