Got Plans??

On June 20th our family is heading to Colorado for my husbands family reunion, This will be very exciting for me, I have never met my husbands Japanese family members except for his Dad and brother.   We will also be celebrating my husbands Grandmothers 88th birthday.
We dont usually take family vacations so I want to make this trip special to everyone. We really can not afford to take this trip but we are using the money that we got for our wedding to pay for it.
DO you have any trips planned for this summer?

Friday I leave for the gulf coast (Dauphin Island, Alabama)... and then in August I'm going to New York City with my grandmother :)

I hope you'll have a great trip and family vacation. We only have day trips planned until fall. Then in the fall when we go on our anniversary color tour, we'll have to find a motel that allows dogs because of my pit bull I got since our trip last year.

I was planning on using some Gather cash and my Visa cards earned on Boomertowne to pay for a trip to San Diego with my husband and 3 boys, but I think we'll try to use the cash I've earned as part of a down payment for a new home.

SO I don't think we'll be going anywhere major this summer. We might take a trip or two to the coast, especially because Bridget is coming to Oregon with her family in August and we're trying to meet each other when she's here. :o)

Does that mean you can cook Japanese..?? If you can I would love it if you could share some advice and dinner Ideas love authentic food :))

We have a family reunion on my side of the family, as well as the kids sports that keep us very busy.This year we are adding music lessons...So this will keep us and the kids very busy...

This will be the first time in 9 years I'm going on vacation. We are renting a beachhouse in the Outer Banks, NC.
