These are some Pansies from the area here in Myrtle Beach, SC. The following are from Brookgreen

Gardens:

I love this color.

Yellow and orange look so nice together like this.

The following are from Broadway at the Beach.

Pansies are abundant here in Myrtle Beach. Everywhere I go there seems to be flower beds full with all the pretty colors and varieties.

Great pictures. I just love pansies. I planted some Friday afternoon and hope they survive. I start off pretty good with watering in the spring but by mid summer, I tend to forget to do it!

Beautiful photo essay about the pansies, aren't they such gentle looking flowers, I remember them growing all along the side of our home when I was a little kid, all colors and always so colorful, loved the purple ones best though, have a lot of personaliy,

These are beautiful, Nana. I love pansies but find them a tad tricky in my climate and for my lifestyle. I bought two flats last week but...only the impatiens and coleus survived. Maybe the Petunias...I am just not putting in enough time, I think. Still, it is damp and cold still but soon will be hot and dry.
