I , for the past 38 years , have always thought that I was German, Irish and Scottish. That is until a year ago when my Grandma passed away , I discovered that my Great  Grandpa (her father) was directly from Greece.  He came to America when he was in his early 20s. So I am guessing that makes me really greek. lol

I know that some nationalities have prominent features, that makes it easy to figure out where they are from. here is my question, I hope this doesnt sound totally stupid.....BUT...... What are the physical charcteristics of someone who is Greek?  It is kinda funny because I do not like Greek food. LOL

A good friend told me on Thursday that I look like I might be hispanic....I always say that I am a white girl from Michigan....so for my friend to say that was kinda funny.
So, I look Greek?

I do not know, I think it depends on what other places your family is from.
Like I have red hair but my family is from Ireland and Germany so it much more German than Irish.

You know, I don't know. I'm mostly German with a bit of Spanish and Irish but I look totally Spanish so...

I'm white, German and American Indian. One day I asked my wife what I looked like. She replied, "Like an idiot." I've never asked her another question like that (LOL).

I had a good friend who was Greek - and he had two daughters. You look like them! Now you have a whole new nationality to explore!

I grew up with friends whose stepdad was an imigre from Greece. We always went to a Greek restaurant in a Greektown in Chicago. You would fit right in.

I'm from Chicago also and Harper S. is right. You look like a lot of the Greeks I've seen in the area. When I first saw your photo (I understand that is you on your icon) I thought you were probably Greek or Italian.

I can't think of anything like nose, but the completion is usually olive and dark hair, as from southern Europe instead of lighter hair and completions of northern Europe. I've traveled through Europe and you appear Greek, Spanish or Italian. I see people claiming to be of Greek decent in my area that look a lot like you.

You do look Greekish to me, it's the dark hair, pretty fair colored skin.

Don't worry I thought for about 40 years that I was a direct decendent of Jeronimo until about 2 years ago when I found out that we were actually of Creole descent. I fell out of the chair.

Some Greeks are quite fair.

You look a bit southern European to me, but that could be Greek, Spanish, Portugese and other nationalities.
