Today was actually a fairly decent day, as far as work goes - management made hamburgers and hot dogs for associates today. It's sort of traditional as an after-inventory celebration, and to celebrate the reception of the bonus check for those who received one.

I'm still seriously tired, though. I've been really exhausted lately and I'm not sure why... but it doesn't help that I had a few trash bags to throw out that were seriously heavy. Ah well. Anyhow, my Gather Points total for today is currently 3,872 Gather Points, up from 3,800 Gather Points yesterday. That's a total of 1,672 Gather Points for the month, or 1,328 Gather Points remaining to meet my 3,000 point goal. To reach that goal, I need to earn 148 points per day.

I've got comments to catch up on and groups to administer, and then I'll work on getting articles posted - particularly for the new group I've made, Breaking 3,000, for news and rules and other such posts. Busy evening ahead, I'd say... wish me luck!

I would love to have the cash out option. I think if I tried really really really hard, I might be able to do it. I almost think it would be easier to do it here, than all the survey sites that I belong to. I have really really been trying to get my points up, but I'm slower than a snail, given the limited time that I can actually be on this site. My work has blocked it, I was on it. I really hate that they did that, no more 6 hours of Gather or any other non work related site. One day I'll figure out how to change that at work. I hope that I have increased your points by at least 5. I'll comment until I can't comment no more. I still believe in helping others out, but I guess I'm helping myself out by commenting on others stuff. I think that is good for all!

Anyways, I'll quit rambling on & on & on. Good night & good luck.

I really hope eventually you make the point to cash rollover. Most I know of that are doing it are the stay at home people, I do not know of any that work outside the home off the top of my head.

Not many points out there today with the idiots and their stupid boycott. That ridiculousness has killed most of Gather's activity. I'm tempted to remove all of them from my network. They may have been trying to make a point, but they've stuck it to the rest of us.

Rob- If you feel that them not being on for a day killed your readership, then their point was well made. I found that it lessened some of the activity, but my particular group of connections is rather mixed, so it did not effect as much as some people saw.
It did give me a chance to try to catch up and publish a few things instead of commenting most of the time I was on.

I also think it is not something worth resorting to name calling. If it killed your points you usually get, those "idiots" are the ones usually giving you points and reading you!

I think that comment right there will kill your readership just as bad as their boycott did. At least if one of my connections said that about me, I would not comment on them anymore.

I am tiny like a leprechaun, barely 5 feet tall.
I’ll spend the day on gather, trying to see it all.
