70's Junk Food how many can you think of?

Here's a few I can recall:

Cherry Hump-Candy Bar
Cherry Hump Candy Bar- It would come in the package like mounds or almond joy. A Big Chocolate covered Cherry candy Bar! Loved it!

Edible Orange Wax Harmonica
I remember as a child these orange harmonicas that you could play it and then eat it. ANd they tasted GOOD!

7-UP Candy Bar
Yes this was a wonderful candy bar. A bit like a box of chocolates in a bar. These were made by Pearson Candy Co. St. Paul Minnesota (makers of the infamous Nut Goodie bar.)

Darn it, I was born in 1975 so I can't really think of any of the "70's" candy. My mom didn't even let us have candy until we started going over to friend's houses and discovering sugared cereals and soda. Heck, we thought carob was the best thing in the whole world until we were like 7 or 8 and found out was REAL chocolate was!!!!

Buster Bars from Dairy Queen... I'm not sure what year these came out but it was close to the 70's. I remember my mom loading us in the car and making a 20 mile to town Buster Bar run! I still love them to this day although they seemed bigger back then! (for those of you who've never had one it's vanilla ice cream, with layers of fudge and spanish peanuts covered with a hard milk chocolate shell on a stick)

there use to be a pop called double cola, man that stuff was good and there was also one called moon shine that had an outhouse on the side of the can lol we just loved that stuff just because of the name.

Lemon Heads! ohhhhh we ate them until our mouths were sore and Mike and Ike any flavor or variety. Sweet tarts were a BIG thing for us then. We carried them around in our pockets for weeks and nibbled on the ends.

I don't know about the 1970's. I grew up in the 50's and 60's. The candies I remember were Bonomos Turkish Taffy, Good n Plenty, Necco Wafers, Root Beer Barrels and Chuckles

Also, the candy cigarette's both the white stick with the red top and the bubble gum ones you blow through and a smokie substance comes out. They looked like lucky strikes.

American Flag Ice Cream
around the time of america's 200th in 1976. A&P sold this ice cream that looked like a flag in the box. the blue part had candy stars.

Bazooka Gum
Bazooka Gum was a small peice of rectangular pink bubble gum sold in a red white & blue wrapper for a nickel each at the corner drug store by the post office of Ocean Grove Swansea Massachusetts in the early 70's. They had a crease up the center which made it easy to split in two peices to share with a friend or sibling. Included with each peice was a small comic strip. The comic strips showed prizes too & provided an address. If one collected MANY of the comics they could send them in to the address and obtain a small prize.

I agree on the candy cigarettes, we still get them only at Halloween here. How about Marathon candy bars, they were almost like a braded caramel covered in chocolate
