We own a 2 acre block in the middle of the north island in New Zealand, it may be small by other farms around us, but boy we ARE going to be THE most productive...in a self sufficient kind of way.
Along with that dream comes a passion for life long learning, this week I learn't about a condition that really blew my socks off..
It is called 'Ryegrass Staggers" and your animals literally stagger about as though they are drunk, thats if they have eaten the new growth of ryegrass which has toxins in, want to know more?
