NATURAL MIGRAINE CONTROL
Believe me, I’ve suffered from migraines since I was about 15, and my poor sister has too. It runs in our family, unfortunately. We have tried everything for controlling migraines, and then my sister found Feverfew.
Yes, something f
ew doctors know about and IT WORKS!
Some herbalists think this herb got its name from the traditional use as a fever remedy, but Feverfew is actually a corruption of the Old English featherfew, which was in reference to the plants feathery leaves.
I grew Feverfew (excuse me for capitalizing it each time, but this herb has helped my migraines, and I revere it!), in my yard when living in Colorado. I’ve since resigned myself to growing it in planters and pots since I live at high altitude now. This herb is also available in your favorite local health food store!
How-To: For migraine control, chew two fresh (or frozen) leaves a day or take a pill or capsule containing 85 milligrams of leaf material. The fresh plant is quite bitter, so most people prefer the capsules. I just take the fresh leaf, as I don’t mind the pungency.
It still works, even if you haven't been taking it on a regular basis. At the very first sign of a migraine, chew the leaves, or take the capsules!
If you are using any prescription drug for migraine, consult with your doctor before taking Feverfew.
DO NOT GIVE FEVERFEW TO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 2!
FOR OLDER CHILDREN OR PEOPLE OVER AGE 65, START WITH LOW-STRENGTH PREPARATIONS AND INCREASE STRENGTH IF NECESSARY.
**As with any herbal or natural remedy, please test for allergies!

Some herbs boost your immune system, and, if one already has an over-active immune system, it's not a good idea.
Also, for some people who are on Guaifen as a treatment for MS, you must not take any herbals or anything containing salycitates.
Thanks for posting that!
Hope you have a wondeful Fourth Of July.
Later I had released enough blocks that the incoming spiritual energy was no longer being resisted - I could receive it and integrate it without headaches.
When people are first learning their self-healing techniques, they may forget about using their own energy flows and inner vision of colored lights to release the blocks that cause pain....They may, due to social and advertising training, believe that only an outer person like a medical professional with an array of drugs can "save" them.
Later, though, after exploring various forms of energy work, visualization, meditation, excercise - then people can begin to remember what their higher selves already knew about self-healing.
When one is performing a self-healing, it's fine to call on others for help; but it's important to remember that others are your assistants, not your saviors. Your inner healer/god-connection is the one in charge.
Thank you very much for the info!
Philip....thanks for stopping by!
Before there was aspirin the general panacea through out most of the known world was the Wood Betony Plant - It fell into dis-use after the advent of Aspirin.
Salacin the pain ingredient of aspirin in its natural form is found in the inner bark of the Quaken Aspen tree and was used for centuries by the Indians for teething children.
They make food taste better too - LOL
