what did your parents tell you when you were young.

Do you remember when you were much younger and your parents would always say something to you,  which was never true. Just to make you thing you did something wrong. heres an example.

You know how you get bumps on your tongue and they would tell you, that you have been telling lies. that's what causes bumps and as a kid you believe them.

Or if you play with a bull frog and they piss on you, you'll get warts.

Now can you think of anything your parents told you when you were little?

Wendy i heard that one so much. It wasnt just me that heard it. I heard her tell that to all of us kids when we were little. She used that all the time.

Does anyone remember the one....... Im going to count to ten and you better stop what you are doing or you better get outside and play. my aunt use to count and when she would get to nine we would push her. She would say nine , nine and one forth, nine and half and we knew when she got there we needed to get running. lol.

Thats bad, but i used some of them to on my kids and i guess our kids will do the same. Remember when we would come in the door and leave it open and are moms would ask. were you born in a barn? I always wanted to ask her, You dont know where i was born? lol.

vicky I never have heard that about red fords, but we dont buy any fords anyways. The reason you dont buy red cars is because you cant see red in the corner of your eyes. I never heard about betting on horses with certain feet. Wow what we grow hearing.
