Page Gate...Congress Firing Staffs Rather than Selves

In a typical Republican low tricks move, Congressman Reynolds today accepted the resignation of his chief of staff, rather than stand up and face the music for his own dropping of the ball.  Expect more resignations from Hastert's staff as they try to make it look like it was staff's fault, rather than their own.

I only wish there hadn't been a child victim involved in this, because otherwise, I couldn't imagine a more entertaining and thorough meltdown of the vile GOP culture of corruption. I wish to hell they'd have destroyed themselves without destroying innocent victims along the way.

Clark, completely agree...the one page is already getting death threats. In the mean time, Reynolds chief of staff flew down to Florida, and tried to negotiate out a deal......here is what I want to know. Did Reynolds sign off on the trip....IE, charge it to the taxpayers....if he did, we really do have a Page Gate, and Reynolds will have no choice but to resign, along with Hastert.

can you imagine foley after he gets out of "treatment"? he's gonna have to sell his house and move far away. people won't want anything to do with him. people in his own district will cross the street rather than tip their hat. the republicans will hate him for this, especially after the election. the democrats won't be his friend either. he might seriously become suicidal.
