Get down to a patients level and look them in the eye every single time you speak to them. Every time. You will earn respect from every patient you deal with.

A Job ..............." Everyone is Looking For"

JOB= Just Over Broke...only surviving.

Someone buy you at whole sale, Like the left over Christmas things mark down at 90% off. And resale you at mark up retail.

you get to retire at 72 and get a other job for less money, have a kid over you younger then your grandson telling you how you need to pick up you pace & start performing or he will have to leave you go.

Why we have so many retired people still working???

Because they can't make it on there retirement income only.

Just may be, We should do something different then they did, for we will not be where they are at. .

So what is a person to do,

1. Work harder then any one on your Job, Do things you see that need to be done."that you can do, with out being told or asked by some one.

2. Be extra-nice to the boss and the back-stabber, who are trying to get you laid off for they can keep there job.

3. Find a plan B. make a game plan and work your plan.

Are you looking for a plan B, I have a plan B, with a game plan.

Unless you change how you are, you will always have what you've got.

If you go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you. If you go to work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you. Whatever good things we build end up building us.

We all have two choices: We can make a living or we can design a life.

If you put a little bit of toilet paper under your upper lip and squeeze it down, it will stop a bloody nose. However, it also sticks under there and it's hard to get it out because it kind of breaks down. My dad taught me that. Works well but yuck!!!

When you have the hiccups take a glass of water and put a paper towel over the lip of the glass. Drink the water through the paper towel and your hiccups will go away. Works everytime for me!

I agree with Donna - look your patients in the eye. You will learn a lot from them and not just their symptoms. Everyone has something to share, it can come out when you least expect it.

I think every Dr needs to remember that when they walk into a patient's room, even a plain exam room, that they are working for that patient, and the time they are in that room belongs to that patient. Not thinking about the case next door, or lunch, or what medication would be best for the person you saw just before....

When you are trying to give a shot to someone who is not sitting still, you reach around to the other side and tickle with your off hand and inject with the other~~ also works to thump the spot lightly first, they don't know when the needle is comming...

The reason I always say "don't forget to wash behind your ears" is because I hope it makes folks think about life: to do good when no one sees, to give to charity annoymously and if you do right and good when no one is watching, you will surely get noticed by those folks who really matter.
