I sure hope that I won't have to vent each day to fix the days I am sweet posting flowers. Everytime I post a flower few people rate it, but post a vent about BzzAgent and here come points. BzzAgent isn't my only rant day and each one of them has in the past managed to get me back to the number of points I need for the goal to get there.
Why don't people want to look at nice flowers? I posted a week before my birthday movies, but they all have few posts. Do members of Gather only enjoy venting posts? I sure don't have to rant to get people to read my work on Mylot. The only days I earn more on Gather then Mylot are when I'm venting and I'm really tired already of venting.
I would like to be myself, but members on Gather don't seem to care about people being themself. I see 100's of drive bye low ratings on great pictures and articles. I kept that article up to remind myself of how far I have come from that piece. People panned it and it had to have ratings help from one of the sites on the board. I didn't think it was a bad first piece, but the posts sure weren't nice.

I tried to be myself in 2006 and didn't even get half way to earning a gift card. People just ignored me. I earned about $4.00 of a gift card and spent a lot of time on the board.
In 2007, I flat out was tired of being a door mat to help others earn gift cards, but give me no help in return, so I flat out had a lot to say about it, as 1 1/2 years to earn a gift card is a long time.
I know many think I'm wrong, but how many of you earned one gift card in 1 1/2 years?
It's hard to build a network here - you have to work HARD to get attention. :) I didn't get much for a long while, but things picked up a little when I sort of stopped posting my own stuff and just concentrated on others' stuff for a while.

I am a coupon clipper and save money regularly. Anytime I mention a coupon drive byers give me bad raters.
I have 100's of older movies that I could review; however, after the hard time I had posting Shrek and had to not post it to large amounts of groups that wouldn't accept this PG movie I would have to say sure can't be myself.
Gather made me put a warning on my post. I wouldn't hesitate for my friends children to all come over to watch it, but many of the groups on Gather sure have a different opinion about Shrek.
Also, many group moderators have taken to the habit of personally thanking you for posting to their groups -- so making a point to post to those groups can help, too. ::winks::

Sometimes I miss people who are trying for cash if I'm not connected to them because their content doesn't show up on my feeds. I find people to add to the list by performing a search for articles by tag and if someone has used a different tag than I'm searching for (I use 'cash', '3000' or 'cash option') then I miss those too. I'm trying to get it all down to a science and this is my 3rd month getting the Cash Option go-getters articles together, so hopefully I'll find a way not to ever miss anyone again.
I DO appreciate you finding my article and telling me that you'd like to be included -- so I have now added you to June's list so I hope it helps you with your goal.
