THANK YOU GOD
There were three friends named…Anita, Rudy and Shan. They were best friends. They all three lived very close to hilly area with a lush green environment.
One day they planned for climbing up on the hill, they wanted to look on the natural beauty there. One very fine morning, they got up early and all 3 were set to go ....they haven't seen the rising sun before ,so for them it was like very much exiciting and amazing journey.... birds were chirping everywhere which they realized what they missed till now... So they all made promise to each other that they will get up early in the morning and will absorb and drink this beauty and so ,they will feel energetic too throughout the day.
While looking at the sun they all said THANK YOU SUN for this immense joy which you have given us…
AS they started their journey, they saw a beautiful garden full of colorful flowers...red,yellow,blue,green and what not …every kind of flower with variety of colors….they were mesmerized by this beauty of nature and they all said THANK YOU FLOWERS for this immense joy….
As they crossed the garden after a while, they saw beautiful green long trees…They all were overjoyed with this nature's creativity that they all said THANK YOU TREES for this great pleasure….
After crossing these huge big green trees, they reached almost on the top of the hill and from there what they saw gave them exultant happiness they all said together THANK YOU MOUNTAINS for this beautiful sight....
But they all were tired of saying again n again THANK YOU, THANK YOU… and of course, due to the hectic journey too…
The very next day, they all reached to their class teacher and told her about their beautiful journey...and complaints also as they were little tired and irritated of repeating the same word… Their teacher miss Rosy said, I will tell you all a trick…instead of saying THANK YOU to individual sights...I mean, you all showed ur gratitude first to SUN, then to FLOWERS then to TREES and then to MOUNTAINS.
But before giving you that trick, first I will ask you all a question…
WHO MADE SUN, FLOWERS, TREES, AND MOUNTAINS?
They all said in one voice….
'GOD'
So their teacher said, then why not we should THANK GOD only from the HEART, who made them.
They all were very delighted as they heard this…they got the answer…really we should THANKFUL to GOD for this natural surroundings and their beauty.
!BE THANKFUL TO GOD ALWAYS FOR EVERYTHING!

It reminded me of a poem that my friend sent me after we returned from a weekened trip with our families to Tahoe. As we sat there on the beach playing, talking and just relaxing amongst friends, we realized how precious all this was. It was then that she said she would send me a poem which seems so much more meaningful now. I'd like to shre it here with you too as this story reminede me of it -
