The League, I didn't get them all in one day. I have high speed internet but it's not THAT high speed LOL I have been here 3 1/2 months. And unless you live like a monk then I would be willing to bet you have met at least 500 people in your lifetime. They may not have left much of an impact but I bet you have met that many. Yeesh I had over 500 in my graduating class and I knew every one of them and that was 13 years ago. LOL

Yeesh I guess this really did not go over very well with some. I am losing connections. They are dropping like flies. I have lost 5 since I posted this.

Don't sweat it. Connections come and go. I lose several everytime I support a conservative or Christian that's getting blasted, but the connection requests that come in make up for them plus a few.

So, does that give you more points or something? Just curious. I am very confused about people who go into chat rooms and want your IM names so they can buddy list you, but never talk to you. Makes it seem that they do not have a lot of real friends so they try to act like the online people are, yet they never talk to you. Oh well, that was off topic totally. What is up with the connections and the way that they work?

Jonathan, i don't think you get more points but people are more likely to read stuff from their connections than those that they are not connected with. It's a little different here than with chat rooms but I do understand what you are saying.

LOL John have at it. I don't think you get more points for having more connections, butthe more connections you have, the more likely your work will be read. As far as how the points work, you get enough points and you can trade them in for gift cards at places like barnes and noble.

Trust me I have a very hard time keeping up....I really dont keep up all that well seeing as how I have had almost no time on Gather this month. Too much Christmas shopping. I am sure my husband would rather I sit here on Gather....its cheaper than me shopping lol
