Recently, on a radio talkshow. I heard the discussion about a woman and her husband, who were torn as to whether they should or shouldn't allow their 5 year old son to be a Ballerina for Halloween.
The mom thought it was not going to hurt the child to wear this because he was only five, and boys always do this. The dad was furious, and said his son was not wearing a ballerina outfit.
Many of the listeners said that they thought this was ok, and that it would not effect the young boy's future.
Today, I was in a store, and guess what I overheard! A mom and her son shopping. He said mom, I want to be a princess!. I thought omg!
She said no, you can't be a princess. The little boy sounded so crushed. But, the wierd twist to this is at the checkout she was in front of me, and had bouthg the little boy a baby doll, and a few little pink and yellow outfits to go with it. Now, on one hand she tells him he cannot be a princess, but on the other hand she is treating him with baby dolls, and cute girly outfits to go with it.
What do yoiu think???
Would you think it is ok to dress a boy up as a princess or any girly outfit for Halloween?

Are sure the dolls were for the little boy and not a sister at home? (just wondering)
Some people seem to think if their boys dress up or play with girls stuff. They will be unmanly and turn out gay when they are older.
Still would love to here more~~~
Another thing that gets me is when women wear mens or boys clothes no one thinks a thing of it but dress a boy as a ballerina and suddenly its a crime?
