I don't know enough about her to have an opinon but your heads up about the article is very much appreciated. I also read the sliming articles on Palin and Obama as well.

This is another reason why I've imposed a semi-blackout status on my news suckage because it suckage so much.

Yeah, that Pelosi, that climbed to the SOTH status by sheer luck is mentally deficient, and an idiot that thinks insults pass for debate isn't, right Lex. Loser in denial,....... just sayin'.

At Pelosi's home in the City, there are constantly picketers outside of it, constantly, constantly . . . .Their issues are as many, and as varied as the population of San Francisco. If those things were anywhere near true, they would have definitely made the local news here and STAYED on the news as the TOP story.

(For most of YOU, Pelosi is the Speaker of the House, but for us, she is also the House Representative for a San Francisco District.)

Pelosi lives under a microscope, and common sense should tell people that none of those things are true. However, there are those who WANT to believe bad things about other people, even when they are lies. For years, I have wondered about this, about WHY anyone would WANT to believe lies about someone else. I think I know the answer:

the people who cling to gossip and lies, and even spread these lies are society's losers. Since they are so miserable/wretched, just out there, lost, no real life, just existing, empty inside, no hope . . .the picture of a loser -- they actually believe that bringing someone else down to their level shall somehow elevate them. I know it's demented reasoning, but these people are way beyond any sanity any ole way.

So there you have it -- losers starting rumors, and probably unbeknownst to them, because all things that arise must converge (what goes around comes around), they have much to answer for, and so they shall, and so they shall.

Another step in the politics of personal destruction. The politics of personality is bad enough--we need to look at a persons policies, and whether they are effectively implemented. Even in the mainstream media there is far too much gossip--of course it's worse on the Internet, where anyone can say anything.

Maybe we're trying to get the vermin out of her burka.

Or maybe you're spreading lies. Not that I think much of the conservative email network even cares if things are true or not.

What makes us human is our ego. The ego part of us loves to judge and bash and insinuate belittling thoughts and actions because it does not realize that we are all ONE in this thing called LIFE - BEING - CREATION. By judging, bashing, and insinuating, the ego feels that it is raised above the level of others and is, therefore, better in every way. By forgiving (realizing the true unimportance of hurting others - man, animal, plant, mineral, etc...) a pure sense of quietness, joy, sereneness can be had. How much better THAT feels than the alternative!!!

It can be expected from extremes on both sides.

But conservatives have taken it to an art form, unfortunately. It happens on the left, but I think more there are skeptical of the messages, and don't just listen to what they want to believe, at least I don't.

That is why Air America couldn't make it. I don't want propaganda, from either side, and I think that's fairly common on the left, though we have idiots, as well.....
