Is the world doing enough to stop the brutal fighting in Democratic Republic of Congo? More than 250,000 people have fled the fighting since the latest flareup, which began with the Rwandan civil war between the Hutus and Tutsis. There are 17,000 U.N. peacekeepers in the country, but humanitarian groups say nothing is stopping the forced labor, rape and widespread brutality. This would also apply to aid for other countries in the region

The answers must be made by those who see such a mess and want something done. They are hard questions which unfortunately do not have easy answers. The last one concerns me because I do know the answer and it falls back onto 2 nations; the US and UK. The majority of Europeans otherwise are at best supporting players with loud voices, few who will commit their people to even defend themselves. Much of the rest of the world is incompetent militarily.
Yeah, much of the world is a mess but watch what we wish for, those who get impressed into doing something might be us and I doubt anyone's gratitude will be either lasting or forceful
MERRY CHRISTMAS, CAROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
