Gather members are a homespun sort. They prefer to receive a homemade scarf or a plate of cookies to something more impersonal like cash or something from a store.
Correction: The total of those who prefer gift from stores is 48% when you add "store-bought" and "gift card" responses. This is greater than the 31% who prefer home made gifts. - GET

My idea of a good holiday...no matter what the holiday...is a meal and conversation, shared with family and friends.

Homemade cookies are the best.

Have you tried these cookies? Mmmm. I think there're some brownies, too.
Shannon and Travis I know you don't believe in Christ so I'll say Happy Monday to you both for I'm outa here and wont be back until Tuesday!!!
Ick! I thought they were a little crispy... Think I'll go find the eggnog.
I know, I know! I'm a picky b**ch but I'm the one who has to live with what people give me! Home made as in baked goods or certain types of lotions and creams are cool too but refer back to what I said about scents... if you don't know me that well, please just a hug and a smile with good wishes will do...or a gift card:))
Sorry for the late reply, but you are right. Overall, people prefer things that come from or can be used in a store. I will put an addendum to the article so that your comments is clear.
