ICE teamed up with Police in a local safety check stop, and the results are incredible. You know the stops...police bring traffic down to one lane, check to make sure your seatbelt is on, look at your inspection sticker, make sure you have a VALID license to drive. Well, in Topeka, Kansas, they've come up with a brilliant strategy....invite the ICE to be a part of these SAFETY CHECKS. The first check netted FORTY NINE ILLEALS, 36 of which were IMMEDIATELY DEPORTED to Mexico!
This is GREAT NEWS, and shows how easily we could round up and deport those here illegally. With little difficulty at all, we could have some 5,000 of these Safety Checks nationwide over a period of say one month. Similiar success rates at each of these would see us in the first round gather up a QUARTER OF A MILLION illegals. Imagine such safety/ICE stops carried out over a one year period....2.5 Million illegals could be taken OFF OUR ROADS, and deported back to their home country.

36 of the arrested aliens were retuned to Mexico the same day
TOPEKA, Kan. — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested 49 illegal aliens here early Saturday morning in a coordinated law enforcement effort following driver's license safety stops made by Topeka Police Department and Kansas Highway Patrol on Interstate 70.
The late-night operation was lead by Topeka PD which requested that ICE participate in its "Operation Driver's License Check Lane." The operation took place at 8 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday eastbound on I-70 at the Carnahan St. exit. Topeka PD and Kansas Highway Patrol stopped the vehicles to check
for valid driver's licenses and perform other safety-related checks. Any drivers who didn't show valid licenses were referred to ICE agents positioned nearby. ICE agents interviewed those referred drivers to determine their immigration status. These immigration interviews identified 49 people illegally in the United States; 44 were from Mexico; five were from Guatemala and Honduras; 41 were men and eight were women.

Suggestion:Illegals that are deported and come back can NEVER become a citizen. Use fingerprint, DNA and iris scans all done with portable devices. Start boycotting stores (hopefully we can afford to do this) but let the mgr/owner know why.

I like the "never becomee a citizen if a deported illegal returns illegally". Makes perfect sense. Someone will try to take it to the supreme court saying its double punishment but it will never stick.
I have begun a self imposed program. Whenever I am standing in line at a check out stand or wherever and I hear the folks around me speaking Spanish I tell that how rude it is to speak in a foreign language in the presence of others. I tell them that they are in America and Americans speak English. If they are illegals, they need to leave my country, if not, they need to learn the language of their new country. If they are illegals they normally will not understand me and I finish up with some sentence containing the letter INS. Surprisingly, they know what INS means, evrytime. Usually they split right away, sometimes without finishing their check out. A few checkers have gotten p.o'd but I could care less. They should be the ones telling these folks to speak English. If they can't speak our language, how can they read roadside signs, street signs, etc., and qualify for a drivers license in the first place. If they are as poor and downtrodden as they alledge, how can they afford a car?, any car?...not to mention the required insurance. They can't and they go get drunk, kill someone and "Oh well - too bad" and they keep on going and do it again and again.
We American citizens that love our country need to start speaking out, in lines, at DMV counters, in letters of complaint to store managers/owners, etc that employ illegals and so on. A ground swell of patriots that cannot be ignored and that will begin to convince the illegals to leave. The only ones that want them here are other illegals, other Mexicans still loyal to Mexico regardless of immigration status and the Priests and Nuns in the Mexican/Hispanic enclaves in cities and towns around our country.
I welcome any immigrant from anywhere that comes here legally in conformity with the immigration laws of the United States. We were and should continue to be a nation of Laws, not men. There are those that want to take away the respect for law and order and replace it with excuse/blame others solutions for problems.
