Nursing School Chronicles ~ The Never Ending...

It has only been two weeks since pinning......and this sounds crazy......but I started to miss the excitement of nursing school. (yeah, I need my head examined)

I reflected on it and thought.....the reason I feel 'off' is because I have been in this Quasi - RNA stage with no end in sight.

BUT GUESS WHAT.

Yesterday......when I checked my mail....I recieved it.

MY 90 day letter.

WOOOOOOOOOT?!?!?!

Now you are probably saying La B, go again to get your head examined. "Whut dose u meen?"

What it means is.....

I can practice as a RN(Applicant) for 90 days or until I take my NCLEX. From there...only two ways to go. I am taking the RN way. Failure is not an option.

But is it not cool? I have the permission to do what I love for 90 days.

Life is good.

I remember when school was over, I had this huge sense of let down. I hadn't taken my boards, yet, but was also much less active in the lives of my school chums. A piece had been taken away.

I'm glad you can practice already! That wasn't an option back when I graduated. Believe it or not, back then there were too many nurses available!
