OK.....this is point whoring at its most shameless.

First the good news.

With my latest Gather-y Borders Card AND 20% off coupon......

I shall acquire..... ECG Interpretation made Incredibly Easy!  It is wirebound already!  And pocket size.  Weighs less than a baby elephant (a very good feature for nursing students).

May I say.......YESSSSSSSSSSH!  as my 3 year old would say.

One of my co teachers lectured for 2 complete class periods on the fine art of ECG interpretation.....sooo...*grumble*...I suppose it would behooove me to get familiar with that and everything else....but especially that.  There better be like 5 questions at least.  I want to be able to play ECG Charades and say what am I?  What am I?  check out my P Wave....WHAT?!?! no P Wave!!!  That's right!!!  I am Tachycardia!!!  (that can be my nurse from da hood name)

I must stock up on my giftcardage.  As I am sure more obscure subjects are soon to come my way.

My skool (yes....I spell that irreverently) has an unofficial motto.  It is.....

TEACH YOURSELF    (thank you Anthony...who is graduating after teaching himself this Aug)

I would print it on tshirts......but I have to buy more books to teach myself.....that is unless of course......My shameless pointwhoring is fruitful.

you all are so wonderful......and WHAT! How could it not be in back to school for grownups. I must fix this!

The ECG Book was $23.95 plus tax and I bought BOGO book marks.

My next acquistion will be the RN Notes book with the CD ($21.95) and an LED light for reading!!! wooooooT!
