Yo soy somanambulista. But it is all good. I knew that would happen. But I have some ways to cope....the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The Good
Trying to be very cognizant of what I am eating these days. Trying to avoid cookies and refined foods as much as possible....though convenience foods are hard to come by these days. I bought a whole mad bunch of water bottles for my car I placed an order at the organic food depot for 24....yes 24 Luna Bars....hey they were 79 cent a piece...that is a deal. And I got a weeks worth of organic yogurt. (that stuff is so good!!! i know a lot of you may be thinking...ewwww organic....but cream on the top yogurt.....it is the bomb diggity) I did not however place an order for my usual twigs, nuts, roots and berry colon blow mix.....JUST KIDDING!!! So hopefully being more mindful of my diet will help
The Bad
I am working thru the bad. Sometime when I come home from school I am really wired. I really could go straight to sleep but I have my body trained so I don't have to pump at school anymore. Come 10:00 pm I have breasts to rival Pam Anderson. 100% naturalle. Baby will be 9 mths on the 14th so maybe 3 more months and I will stop BF. Maybe. So until then. When I get home at 11:00pm....it's time to make the breasticles. (aka frozen milk for the baby )
The Ugly
There are times when the baby wakes up. Or I stayed up a little too late. And I still have to go to work. Desperate Times call for desperate measures:
This is my arsenal:
1) a strong cup o tea HOT!....but this can also have a soporific effect (i love that word!)
2) a frosty beverage. a coca cola ....if you tell 7up.....I will get you.
3) double shot of espresso.....whooot I am climbing the walls right now just thinking about it.
and last but not least. i reach for these when all else has failed me. They are my secret weapon: #3 is....
Red Twizzlers. aka Heather crack. I must be sensitive to the red dye 40 or something. I use this ONLY in case of an emergency.
Does anyone else have any sleep/energy cures?
