What's your favorite Sandwich?

I just saw this online at Boston.com and thought that it would be interesting to ask here....so What's your favorite Sandwich?

 

Mine is the Turkey Carver - also know as thanksgiving turkey - at Souper Salad it is called the Bostonian....

Turkey, with cranberry sauce and stuffing...yum, yum

We have a local deli called the French Laundry that has the BEST sandwiches. Mine is called a peeper and has chicken, hummus, roasted red pepper, cuke, and spinach with real honey mustard sauce. Yum!

Sadly, here in San Diego I haven't found too many yummy sandwich shops! I am a sandwich whore, I could eat them every day for breaky, lunch, and dinner! But my favorite is turkey (deli turkey should flake apart a little, if it doesn't it's crap!), chive cream cheese, Havarti or Munster cheese, sprouts, and red onion! :p

Is it any kind of sandwich, or from a specific place? If it's any kind, then mine would have to be Genoa salami on a hard roll with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and spicy mustard with pickles on the side! Although since that's so fattening, I only allow myself that sandwich once in a blue moon.

Since I'm a vegetarian, I usually have everything, BUT the meat, on my sandwich. Is that awkward?

My typical sandwich consists of: lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, pickles, onions, PROVOLONE CHEESE, MAYO, and bread.

It's quite yum.

Mine is a turkey sandwich with everything on it at the subway. with pepper cheese and heated up.

There's a fantastic deli out in Marlborough, MA, called The Boar's Nest. They use all Boar's Head meats (which are fabulous).

One of my favorite sandwiches originates there, called the A-Rod. Two kinds of bologna, American cheese. 'Nuff said. :o)

(You probably have to be from Boston to truly appreciate the joke there!)

I'm also a vegetarian, but a sandwich with stuffing and cranberries sounds delicious (I've done that before with thanksgiving leftovers and included cold mashed potatoes or sweet potato...mmm).

I'm also a fan of egg, cheese, and a soy sausage patty on English muffin.

The Cajun chicken sandwich at Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh. It is worth the trip from Cleveland.

My favorite sandwich is peanut butter and jelly (strawberry). But my restaurant sandwich is Panera's Asiago Roast Beef.

I love mozzarella and tomato on foccacia bread at a table. On a picnic, sadly my favorite sandwich is hard salami on French bread slathered with sweet butter.
