Don H. - I don't believe I have ever stated that I subscribe to any "party," let alone any single agenda associated with any party. Please refrain from putting words in my mouth. I just believe everyone has a right to be informed and I am doing my part in making that happen. An informed voter is much better than someone who just votes ANY party line.

The fact that the candidates will be participating shows that Move On has grown up and moved a little more towards the center of the political spectrum than when it was formed. The more I hear the candidates talk, the better I'll feel about voting.

Thank you Lauren for posting this. I had heard about it, but unless it's in my face, I don't necessarily remember about it. It will be good to see what the Democratic candidates have to say about Iraq. You always hear soundbites, but maybe, hopefully, they will actually say something real this time!! Hopefully moveon.org has grown up enough to ask the real questions and require them to give a real answer and not politico-speak. And whatever party you all subscribe to or don't subscribe to, the only way to get this country back in the right direction is if we are ALL INFORMED. So for all of you that think it's a horrible thing to be a Democrat, then listen so you have real things to say about those candidates instead of "yeah, well, I don't like them." I'll be looking forward to reading the transcripts as I must be at work at that time. :(

No actually I was not the first. Napoleon sent me a personal message about my image. And it was very rude. He then erased that one and put a less rude comment on there. But I got and read the emails. So don't blame the Neo-cons for everything. Take a lesson from Joanna, she said it best. Good post Joanna, well said and so true.

For those who are curious, here are the results of "exit polling" after MoveOne's Virtual Town Hall event (this isn't a MoveOn endorsement). Of the candidates that were represented and the attendents that responded, here's how the votes stacked up:

Sen. Barack Obama 28%
Sen. John Edwards 25%
Rep. Dennis Kucinich 17%
Gov. Bill Richardson 12%
Sen. Hillary Clinton 11%
Sen. Joe Biden 6%
Sen. Chris Dodd 1%

I dislike groups like move on and the swift boat group. its innuendo and no substance which provides a disservice for voters of both parties. I get real fast with my mute button during election season. personally I wish someone would sue them both and all groups like them and make expensive enough that they would think twice before airing the garbage they do. PS and am a liberal independent. I am so liberal I make Ed Kennedy look like Strom Thrurmond .
